Well just ordered 6 titles for the time being from the sale

The Long Goodbye
Gorky Park
Navajo Joe
Death Rides a Horse
F/X 2
House on Carroll Street

Already have a ton of Kino releases, but can't wait for these.

My favorites are, in order:

1. Living Dead Girl

2. Demoniacs

3. The Nude Vampire

4. Shiver of the Vampires.

5. Fascination

6. The Escapees

I would start with any of the top four. I liked Fascination, but not as much as some others have.

Great, surreal films with some wonderfully sexy actresses on display, unlike a lot of Jess Franco films, who, IMHO, is woefully second rate to Rollin.

A UHD release would suggest a very high profile title, so one of these perhaps?

Blue Velvet
Manhattan
Annie Hall
Thelma and Louise
A Bridge Too Far
Platoon
War Games
When Harry Met Sally
Some Like It Hot

Come to think of it, haven't Manhattan and Annie Hall already received 4K restorations? I'm sure Manhattan has at least.
I would tend to doubt SOME LIKE IT HOT or MANHATTAN...I doubt they would roll out their UHD debut with a black-and-white title. Could be wrong, but seems an unlikely way to start with that medium.

We definitely know it's not going to be a Bond film; MGM will definitely release their own set(s) for that probably in 2019 for Bond 25.

Some more possibilities (based off of my knowledge of none of them having recent 4K masters, correct me if I'm wrong)
Blue Velvet
Dances With Wolves
Hair (Considering that Olive released a DVD only recently and not a Blu Ray)
Hoosiers
Raging Bull
The Secret of NIMH (Extremely unlikely but one can dream)

I wonder if Arrow ends up releasing Some Like It Hot after releasing The Apartment. I would really go all out for a package like that for Some Like It Hot.

The MGM release still looks great for "Some Like It Hot" but Arrow's release of "The Apartment" is damn fine (I myself still haven't picked it up just due to that book taking up too much space for me).

I love Jean Rollin flicks! The Iron Rose would probably be my favorite and I don't think it was mentioned. Might even be my favorite redemption release. And a couple other non-Rollin films that are among my favorites that more people should check out:

Hmmm, the sale flyer states that all titles are 50%-70% off, but I just checked a few films I've had my eye on, and the savings to be had on those are definitely less than 50%. Ah well, I was able to pick out five other discs that did have good sale prices; with the total coming to just over $50, there's no shipping charge (woohoo).

Yeah, I grabbed 5 myself:

Barton Fink
A Fistful of Dollars
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
Hell in the Pacific
Prime Cut

Came to just over $60 shipped. Might go back for more later. Have my eye on Death Rides a Horse and Mr. Majestyk, too...

I noticed that as well. A lot of their silent films were still rather expensive. Metropolis is $27 regular $40. A little disappointing as I was finally ready to dive into some of the silent classics. Thankfully there’s tons of other titles that are on sale for great prices, so I’ll find some other substitutes.

Anyone know a good place to grab their silent films like Metropolis, Nosferatu, Phantom of the Opera, etc. Any other sales throughout the year where these can be found for reasonable prices?

Now there's a coincidence---I was ready to purchase The Complete Metropolis as well, but the higher price put me off too! I'm wondering if some of the prices will be lower during the November sale (I believe that's when the next big sale is?).

So, for now, I only purchased titles that were at least 50% off.

Anyone know of a good way to browse their entire catalog alphabetically? I seem to recall doing this during past sales, but...for some reason, I can't seem to find a way to do it now.
