However, I can't seem to figure out how to render the cover to be displayed in an image like the one quoted in my last post. This seems to be very barebones as far as I can tell. Am I missing something that is right in front of me? |

![]() This is the style that I try and emulate on my retro covers. Due to the fact that the blu ray spine is smaller than the vhs spine, there is more blank space left on the spine than normal. It also depends on the logo design as well. |

In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the original 'Grease' (and the fact that the movie is being released to bluray at the same time), here is the retro cover for 'Grease 2':

![]() ARE YOU READY, TRUE BELIEVERS?! So this is a project that I started months ago, and got pretty far, but kind of stopped for a while. (I do intend to finish the Disney slips that I previously posted, but I got the "itch" to work on this again). I'm a big fan of the Marvel/Capcom crossover games. I have all of them for some gaming system or another (in most cases, more than one). I decided to do a "Marvel vs. Capcom Collection" series of covers for all of them, including the non-crossover fighting titles that preceeded them, "X-Men Children of the Atom" and "Marvel Super Heroes." The idea here was to represent each game title as part of the collection, and not any specific console that they are on. This way anyone who wants to use them can do so no matter what consoles they have these games on. In my case, I do intend to eventually print these up, and for the games that I have for more than one console, I'll be using multi disc cases to put the different releases of the same title together. Some required A LOT more work than others, just based on available resources and such. In some cases I more-or-less recreated/rebuilt the title texts for the ones that I couldn't find high enough quality versions for. I still plan to do more work on the first Marvel vs. Capcom's title logo. I went with DVD size cases since I didn't want to use console specific cases/styles (i.e. PS3, PS4, Xbox One), and wanted to be able to use some multi-disc case options. For some reason the "Marvel vs Capcom Collection" logo at the top of each cover ended up with a case of aliasing in the images below. It's not like that in the main file, so I believe that has something to do with the rendering the program did for the pics below. At the bottom I do have a separate pic of one case from a front view to better show the "collection" logo. The spines of the boxes are done in such a way that they work fine individually, but when lined up they have a combined background image of two worlds "colliding" with each other. There were two versions of "Marvel vs. Capcom 3" released. The first version had the subtitle "Fate of Two Worlds" with it. The later updated version was called "Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3." Rather than make two separate cases for them, I opted to make one that represents both. The front of the case has the "Fate of Two Worlds" title on it, while the back has the "Ultimate" title. The spine simply says "Marvel vs. Capcom 3." I'd say the project is in the ballpark of 95%-ish done at this point. I just realized after uploading these images that I completely forgot to put the "T" ratings logo on Marvel vs. Capcom 1 and 2, as well as the Capcom logo in the opposite corner like the others. Oh well, those are easy fixes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Dynamo of Eternia; 02-15-2018 at 09:10 PM. |

Given that it fell just short of recovering its $15m budget stateside (largely due to the mistake of marketing different prints with alternate endings) it could have used all of the publicity open to it. Last edited by CompleteCount; 02-17-2018 at 08:36 AM. |

Figured I would note this here as this news affects many of us who use the 'view image' and alternate image size buttons as resources when searching for resources.
