I'm sure it's just that i'm not very good, but i'm not exactly putting on a hit parade on veteran level. As far as the other settings, i will have to give them a try. Congratulations on your new son. Hopefully son and mother are both doing well.

Thats what I use only! I crank up all the stats for pitchers and hitters so that if I connect well I can still get a a homer. Thats one thing I noticed using the basic stats is that if I connect well almost all my players can't get even 1 home run.

If memory serves me right. Out-of-the-box baserunning is set to 'default.' And that is what I also have been useing up till 2 days ago. I switched to classic. But I am ok with the default setting.

Any word on how many gms??

We have 21 teams right now. So we are looking at right around 45-54 games for the season. I am playing around with division games right now trying to find a good happy medium.

ahhh damn!!! just when i was about to vote for classic baserunning. been playing both and i've found classic to be easier. Oh well, back to the drawinjg board and getting use to default again. (LOLOLOL)
