Zero interest in any Fulci films, but it's at least a better debut title than The Electric Chair. Apparently the movie is minor Fulci (aren't they all?) but obviously his name has major cache among gorehounds, even if this particular title isn't a major one - late-period, made-for-TV, and without any Fulci regulars.

I'm not a Fulci fan at all, even his top-tier stuff. He delivers gore and atmosphere, but not much else.

I do hope it sells well though. If it doesn't, it'll probably be an excuse to not release Just Before Dawn on blu-ray.

Chalk up another Blu-ray release being planned as Code Red has stated they will be bringing one of their past DVD releases, "Nightmare" (aka "Nightmares in a Damaged Brain") to the Blu-ray format. No release date has been stated but a new extra with an interview with Star Mik Cribben will be included. The OP has been updated with this exciting news.

I love how Bill has announced 8 blu-rays, and has yet to release even the first. He should announce another 10-15 for kicks.

How about subtitles for the Scavolini interview? One would think that would be the top priority as far as new extras are concerned.

Ditto. What happened to The Farmer? Supposedly there was a director's commentary recorded four or five years ago. Does he still have the rights?

THE FARMER is owned by Scorpion Releasing these days.

When you pay a licensing fee to a company, the same company whom Elite licensed from years ago, doesnt make one a bootlegger. The smear campaign was unjustifed, as if thats the attitude, wouldn't many cancelled releases from other labels whom paid to license a title, only for another party to make a claim, those labels are now bootleggers too?

He doesn't do preorders. They're for sale when they're for sale. Unless something gets worked out with Diabolik beforehand, but this hasn't happened yet (for preorders).

Based on what Bill said, the pressing plants minimum for Blu-rays is 1,000 discs which is a number Bill has yet to sell since going the "sell direct" route. I imagine he feels pressing over 1,000 is way too ambitious and I'd have to agree if his numbers are accurate.
