I have the Future Shop version and it's the same as the Best Buy version (not the remaster).

Everyone assumed it would be the new disc when the listings were added to the website, the listing for the Best Buy version has since been updated. I've submitted the change for the Future Shop version so there won't be any more confusion.

This site says the BB/US Léon is 110 min, and the FF/CA Léon is 133 min. Can anyone confirm?

It's kind of a sketchy thing for Sony to do. Are they trying to unload a bunch of old copies hoping nobody will notice?
WOW!
And i was about to ask this!
Thanks for the warning!

What a shame....

Fifth Element is the old pressing, not the remastered version. based on the soundtrack listing alone. PCM, and regular 5.1, not the True HD mix included on remastered 2nd pressing.

Yes, the US best buy version pop art steelbook contains BOTH US theatrical and extended European cuts, as did the original pressing.

Saw this a couple of weeks ago, forgot to post...but thanks for the info, I held off on the fifth, definitely disappointing...ended up only picking up District 9...

Man, color me disappointed the Fifth Element transfer the the non-remastered copy. What a blunder. I guess I'll just throw it up on eBay. I'm pretty happy with the karate kid though.

Can't believe that the Fifth Element is the old transfer! Glad I read this forum first before wasting my money on it. I was this close to getting it from BB the other day I was in there.

I've tried to search for an answer, but is the Leon steelbook based on the new 4K remaster?

Assuming these are the same as the ones available at Best Buy, is the disk for Taxi Driver the same as the 2011 "Mastered in 4K" version or is it something older? I couldn't find a definitive answer. Thanks in advance!

I was at Walmart just yesterday and saw that some of the steelbook blu rays for some of the movies like Matrix and Resident Evil were pretty cheap at 9 bucks.

Whats weird is that these steelbooks are supposed to be Best Buy exclusives. So whats up with that? Not that theres anything wrong with seeing them at Walmart but just curious

The blu ray steelbooks that i saw at the Walmart store yesterday

original Karate Kid
The Matrix
District 9
Resident Evil
Logan
Predator
Highlander
The Dark Knight
Ghostbusters
Stripes

They all looked nice but i dont like the artwork on the front cover for the Ghostbusters steelbook. Reminds me too much of The Stuff
