do you think this will go down in price to like $20 like the arrow seasons did? or should I just buy it release day with that price in case it never does go down?

The popular WB shows always go down at BF. It could always change, but from everything so far it's a safe bet to wait until then.

The preorder listing and link to the Best Buy exclusive were added to blu-ray.com earlier today. I wish I could thank the person that dug up this info because BB doesn't make it easy to find(e.g. If you type Flash Complete First season into their search engine it won't show up along with the regular edition). The cover art isn't shown on the BB site yet and none of the included text on the page indicates a lenticular slip will be included. I really like the exclusive slip for Arrow S2, so I hope Flash S1 will get one. As of today, the BB page only states that a comic will be included. Here is the link to the Best Buy site:

The vertical line on the left side of this Canada listing almost makes this look like it could be a digi (Arrow's listing is the same way on BB.ca). Unfortunately, the European standalone comic probably proves it will just be inserted in the case.

In the episode where Barry goes up against Weather Wizard (Spartacus), did anyone notice the Quantum Leap nod? When Barry exits the time rift and realizes he's one day in the past - his first words are ... "Oh Boy."

Just watched it with the old man yesterday and even he caught it and laughed.

I have not bought a TV season on blu-ray since Smallville season 8 back in 2009. This will be a day one for me. Absolutely fantastic show!!!

I as a fan of the 1990 version (which I own too) was quite pleased at all the in jokes and nods back to that version. It's good on its own right, but I love that stuff.

But what I like most is that it appeals to my wife (who doesn't watch this kind of TV normally), and my 10yr old daughter. The three of us watch the show as a family, and that's my favorite part of it.

We bought it on Blu-Ray anyway, even though I have the entire season sitting on my TiVo still.
