Is just The Last Emperor with the digipak packaging OOP? Does the newer one with the clear case have a different SKU?

No one seems to have it in stock except Criterion; not Amazon, BN, CDUniverse, ImportCDs, DVDEmpire, BBY, Target, etc.

Oops, I didn't realize that 13 Going on 30 was OOP. Looks like I'll be importing it from Italy. Hopefully it'll have identical Audio/Video since it was released at the same time as the US version.

I moved on since last night but you brought that email to what, prove me wrong? I wasn't speculating at all. I knew the Digipack had to be OOP because its rather old (from 2009). And I wasn't being self congratulatory with my remarks, I guess you are very susceptible.

Criterion has already said that it's not OOP.

Maybe it's a low seller, which is why retailers don't have any in stock. That doesn't mean it's OOP.

Again, OOP and OOS are not the same thing!

I wonder if that means it's not OOP? The distributor is selling it themselves.

Why is Dawn of the Dead from Anchor Bay in Bold? I'm pretty sure it has only ever had the one releases, at least in NA.

Also, what about separating the lists by region ie. NA, UK, Japan, etc.? There are many of us that aren't region free, and it would also make the list less confusing when a movie is OOP in one region, but another.

I fixed Dawn of the Dead. It was supposed to be in italics.

If the title listed is not a U.S. release it is noted in parentheses. Also, they are all linked to provide further information.

Such as,

Cujo - Has been re-released by Olive with different transfer and extras.
Day of the Dead * Has been re-released by Shout with a different transfer and extras.
Destroy All Monsters * Has been re-released minus extras and English Audio track.
Godzilla vs. Biollante * Has been re-released by Lionsgate.
Hostel * Has been re-released as a double feature by Mill Creek minus extras.
Hostel 2 * Has been re-released as a double feature by Mill Creek minus extras.
Lifeforce * Has been re-released minus one featurette.
Monster Squad - Has been re-released by Olive minus the extras, different transfer and audio tracks.
Running Man - Has been re-released by Olive with different transfer, audio tracks, and extras.

Just so we know what exactly is different, and whether or not it's worth forking over the extra cash for the OOP version. This would eliminate confusion of panic, for those that just want the movie, as well as let those that care about extras know what exactly they are missing by getting the re-release.

Right, if a title was re-released with different video, audio, and/or extras it is technically not a re-release.

In that case Hostel and Hostel 2 should be removed Bold. Actually most of those Sony titles should be. 20 Millions Miles to Earth, Last Action hero, Flatliners, Vertical Limit, etc. as they are all either missing extras or audio tracks, or both.

i think its great that you are doing this, i love seeing the the movies that are out of print, now i wish someone would do the same for DVDs and yes i know that this is a blu-ray forum
