Jaws will be interesting as I wonder what stage the slight filtering took place for the BD. Hopefully it's not baked into the 4K DI.

If anyone can find an excuse, it's Universal.

The E.T. UHD has "grain management" worse than the BD so I don't have much hope for the other Universal Spielbergs.

Apollo 13 seemed to have something going on too.

The new UK BD set looks nice, although at only £25, I can't imagine it'll be remastered.

It does look really nice. What a hard sell with the uhds just around the corner. Nice swag but not worth an extra dip.

I hope the UHD box set(s) go for a similar design. Just that classic, classy logo against the black background. No nasty, overdone attempt at "modernizing" it. No more of that red/chrome color scheme we've been stuck with since JPIII. Lordy, it's been nearly 17 years; it's about time they ditch that.

I'll probably hold out until Fallen Kingdom hits home video, so I can (hopefully) have all five together in a (hopefully) sexy box.

With what Universal has been doing with Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, treating the franchise with more care and attention, I'm cautiously optimistic they'll handle this 25th anniversary/4K release of JP right. ...

I'd love a boxed set at a good price like with MIB or Spider-Man. Or an individual price at <$20 a movie.

I think I could be happy only getting the first movie and rewatching it.

I guess my hopes for a trilogy boxset are dashed. Now I just have to live with owning a copy of...*shudder*...Jurassic World.

I’d guess that’s the date for the UHD release as well in the UK

Love all that art. Beautiful looking set. Hopefully the 4K set will look the same

Different countries put out releases on different days, Blade Runner 2049 was released in Italy on February 7th which was a Wednesday and I remember pre-ordering a BD from Amazon Germany and that came out on a Thursday.

My hope is Universal releases a UHD box set in May/June with room to add the UHD disc for Fallen Kingdom, similar to what they did in this box set that came out just prior to Jurassic World's theatrical release.

They'd better add a second empty slot as well, as they've already announced development/pre-production on a third Jurassic World movie.

Why? The 6th film has already been slated for one 2021, so a 5-film "box" will be outdated soon enough, if physical media doesn't die out by then.

You have more patience than I do. I'm getting whatever 4k box set they release day one and just adding the next two Jurassic World uhd installments as single (most likely) steel books.

All this talk of sets, no individuals? I just want the first one.
