Why call the MCU X-men reboot "the Mutants"? why not just call the first movie "The Uncanny X-Men, the second movie "The Astonishing X-Men", and the third movie "The Extraordinary X-Men"?

The X-Men are not a part of that schedule, but Feige did allude to “mutants” being something that Marvel Studios is working on. From 2019.

I'm pissed that they cancelled The Gifted. That show was good. As for Legion, I had to tap out in the middle of the second season. The show is trippy for the sake of being trippy. I literally didn't know WTF was happening. WandaVision is trippy too, but that show has better focus.
