I use collectorz on my PC for movies and music but they are older versions that are not compatable with the apps. I've had no reason to keep paying more and more for every new upgrade plus pay for an over priced app just to sync to my pc.

The iPhone app was approved a couple of hours ago, but it might take up to 24 hours for it to appear in the app store.

Is the app compatible with iPhones that still have OS 4? I haven't upgraded the firmware for ages, as I got bored of the novelty of the iPhone, and don't use it for anything other than making calls, sending messages, email, taking photos and the Internet anymore.

if you want the app you'll have to find the courage to plug the iphone into the computer and press the update button though

It's not quite that easy, since I've got over 150 apps which need updating as well. So after downloading the OS 5 update, and installing it, I'll have to then update all the 150 apps, which is going to take more time than just 5 minutes. I suppose I could delete most of the apps that I didn't pay for, seeing as though I don't use them any more. That will bring down the number of apps which need updating by a bit.

it would be far easier if you kept updating the gradually. now it will be a pain (if they're are illegal, legal ones are very easy to update and install). I "hate" people with outdated software

I understand that, but unfortunately I got a little behind before than iOS5 was available because like I mentioned previously, I barely use apps anymore, and since the iOS5 was released, it won't allow me to update any apps until I install iOS5. My fiancée installed iOS5 on her phone back when it was 1st released, but after seeing it on her iphone, I didn't like some of the changes, which is another reason why I haven't installed it.
