This looks great!! Pedro Pascal is great for Joel. Loved hearing the little bit of the original soundtrack there at the end.

I'll echo what others have said that it looks pretty good. Really looking forward to this next month. Also, it was cool to finally see a Bloater revealed at the end of the trailer too.

Not sure what it is about the girl playing Ellie but there's just something I can't put to words that bothers me about the casting. The rest looks great (if maybe a little TOO reliant on making game screenshots come to life).

Would have liked Gustavo's music to be front and center instead of what they picked.

Looks incredible and yet, the games were already so textured and cinematic and characters so vivid and lifelike, that with this HBO series it almost feels like going for a rerun, like I'm gonna be going through the motions just a wee bit. And there are striking similarities with The Walking Dead, not least its theme where nature has overrun society, so The Last of Us doesn't strike me as super original. I feel like I've seen it before, at least something markedly similar.

Obviously, that's all a gross oversimplification. I'm really looking forward to it.

Still not sure about Ellie but Joel looks pretty spot on. Excited to check this out next month. I have a lot of faith in the creative team behind this.

I get the doubt some may have around Bella playing Ellie.

But the job she did as Lady Mormont on GoT gives me zero doubt she will make it work from the start.
