For me:
Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman 1984
Aquaman
BvS Dawn of Justice
Birds of Prey
Justice League
Suicide Squad

Excluded Shazam only because I haven't seen that one as of this reply.

Mine:

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
Wonder Woman
Man of Steel
Wonder Woman 1984
Shazam!
Birds of Prey
Aquaman
Suicide Squad

Josstice League

I've excluded Joker because it exists in its own continuity. Otherwise I'd list it in second place. Can't wait for ZSJL to come out so I can omit Josstice League from the ranking for good.

For me:

1. Wonder Woman
2. Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice
3. Shazam!
4. Birds of Prey
5. Wonder Woman 1984
6. Man of Steel
7. Aquaman
8. Suicide Squad
9. Justice League

If I included Joker, which isn't part of the DCEU, I would put it above BvS at #2.

My controversial ranking
1. Shazam
2. Wonder Woman
3. Aquaman
4. Birds of Prey
5. WW84
6. Man of Steel
7. Batman v Superman
8. Justice League (I have complete faith both versions will go here when the Snyder cut is released. Absolutely have no care about that movie or his vision for DC. Yes it sucks it got taken away in the way it did but everything I've heard leak wise and trailer wise isn't making me desperateto watch that cut. I'd rather watch 2003 Catwoman or Green Lantern. That's how badly I view it)
9. Suicide Squad
So yeah call me a Snyder hater or whatever I just don't like his direction and thats my opinion and I respect everyone else for their opinion too.

I find them hard to rank since the majority of them are so forgettable but I really enjoyed Wonder Woman and Shazam. At the other end of the spectrum are WW84, Birds of Prey, and Suicide Squad, which are some of the worst movies I’ve seen in the last 5 years (with Suicide Squad having the disctinction of being the flat out worst movie I’ve ever seen). The rest of the DC stuff is deeply flawed but watchable.

Interesting take on the movies.

Like a lot
Aquaman
Wonder Woman
Suicide Squad
Shazam!

Liked
Birds of Prey

Not so thrilled with
Man of Steel
Batman v Superman
Justice League

Have not seen
WW84

Dishonorable mention (thankful its a standalone and not part of the universe) Also was an unpopular opinion amongst my friends who loved it.
Joker

Luke’s arc in The Last Jedi is a perfect representation of who Luke would be 30 years on if he had to watch evil rise again with his nephew at the front of it.

And Rey’s arc of finding belonging in the people around you who actually love and care for you rather than the family who abandoned you is a great arc too.

And I’d argue anyday that Rian Johnson has a much firmer grasp on the themes and ideals of Star Wars than many of its so-called ‘fans’ and Johnson’s view on Star Wars is actually very in line with what Lucas wanted the sequels to be anyway such as blurring the lines between good and evil, showing the heroes as flawed etc while ultimately being a story about hope and redemption. Han and Leia’s son and Luke’s apprentice turning evil as a result of Luke’s attempts at teaching was actually from Lucas.

But I’m not here to argue about Star Wars. In fact, Star Wars has got nothing to do with DC. So, nice job trying to deflect by changing the subject but it didn’t work.
I disagree vehemently. Read that opening sentence again. It amazes me how so many people like you think that episodes VII-IX were about Luke, Han, and Leia.

It's a polarizing release. Probably devolved into personal insults and/or political debate. Things were getting pretty absurd the last time I looked at the thread.

I'm honestly shocked that this movie is garnering such a passionate reaction from either side of the opinion spectrum. It never struck me as any more than a standard, solid superhero movie. Maybe there really is such pent-up demand for anything superhero-related that this movie is feeling the force of that passion, for better or worse.

It's The Last Jedi all over again . In the end I will still take WW84 over TLJ. There's more optimism for WW3 I would say as compared to what TLJ gave us.

Sequel to the BvS Thread and “Martha”

The Last Jedi was much better than WW84 as was Rise Of Skywalker, Justice League and Suicide Squad films that seem to get trashed by a percentage of people on this forum.

BvS may have a slight edge over WW84 because of the appearance of Wonder Woman and I liked Jesse Eisenberg’s Zuckerberg influenced Lex Luthor another controversy in the film.

Honestly the reception for WW84 def reminds me of TLJ. Very divisive film where one side loved it and the other side hated it.

Great:
Batman v Superman
Man of Steel

Good:
Aquaman
Shazam!

Meh:
Birds of Prey

Bad:
Wonder Woman

Awful:
Wonder Woman 1984

Not including because they were butchered by WB:
Suicide Squad
Justice League

I have full confidence that the unmolested versions of SS and JL are great. Hopefully Ayer gets the same opportunity Snyder is getting.

From a story/fan perspective I can understand why folks were disappointed with TLJ but in terms of craftsmanship I think it runs circles around WW84, which felt like the film equivalent of a chicken running around with its head cut off.
