You know, McC, I never broke my Pioneer in, and no problems at all - been a month.

I've read many-a-post from Pioneer owners on this site who say they never technically "broke-in" their sets and have had no IR problems. Actually, I don't recall reading about IR problems from ANY Pioneer owners. Not recommending to do or not, just sharing an observation.

I play 2.35 movies a lot, I use the visual player on the PS3 for music a lot (full screen) and I run the Video Pattern on the 5020 right before I go to sleep and right before I leave my house since it runs for exactly an hour then shuts off. But I never did any dedicated break-in.

I'm also gonna add pics to my gallery sometime in the near future but only after I extreme makeover my living room and downstairs. I'm gonna mount the Kuro up on the wall but I want to add a couple extra 2x4's to the wall for safe measure as well. Better to go overkill !!!

. kind of hard to conceal and bundle thick and heavy ones.

I don't have work tomorrow so I will have plenty of play time to take some pics and post them then.
