I think they will be available on the individual releases. It'll only be the packaging that's limited and the facsmile letter from Hamill. There's no reason to believe they won't be the exact same discs.

No.

1. Episode IX ruined the sequel trilogy for me. It turned it from "good enough" to "will never watch again."

2. I hate the Special Edition changes. Fan restorations are the only way I can watch these movies until Disney release them unaltered, which will probably never happen.

3. It's disappointing that they're asking so much money for booklet packaging. When did sliding discs become so popular?

I like the way the prequels look on Disney Plus. May buy them separately later.

I would only buy it if:

-the original unaltered IV-VI trilogy were on it

and/or, if

-AOTC were returned to its original, non-teal-tinted, natural theatrical colors.

Otherwise, no. I loathed TFA so much that I never even bothered to watch the other two sequel films.

No. As much as I want the OT in my collection, I can't stand the fact that they are the altered editions. I don't mind small changes, but these changes are too drastic for my taste. If I buy them, I'll never watch them. I'll only watch 4K77, 4K83 and Grindehouse (until 4K80).

I don't care for the prequels or TRoS.

So the only ones I want to buy are TFA and TLJ (if it's reissued, if not I'll need to find the 4K release from two years ago).

I also don't wanna buy another altered version of the OT, but I own so many other copies of it that I kinda figure what's the harm in having another lol. Keep going back-and-forth on this set, talking myself into and out of it.

At the moment I'm waiting for an official announcement on this and the individuals. If the special features disks are included with the individuals, I will go that route. Otherwise I will be buying this.

I wonder if they're gonna drop the price after a couple of months on sale. E.T. limited edition has been out for two years plus and is still available. It took ages for the Spidey 4k set to sell out and there were only 1000 copies. Then again, the Once Upon A Time HMV limited set has sold out.

It's not likely they'll reduce it below £180 before release, as it will cost them a lot of revenue (from everyone who's pre-ordered.) I'm hoping it drops to around £140 at some point.
Amazon don't charge until dispatch so I got my pre-order in as soon as it went live, no reason not too if you have any interest in buying it as it locks in the lower price and ensures you have a copy if it does sell out and if later you decide you don't want it then just a few button presses and its cancelled.

I'm only buying Episode 1-6 on 4K when they come out individually. The sequel trilogy is a hot mess that I really have no care to watch again.

Same. If the individual releases are the same in terms of discs I will go that route.

I know nothing is official but based on what we know so far are the individual releases likely be the same day as the boxset? I’m reading conflicting information on this.

If the sound is in Atmos, I may get them.
The sound on the original set that I have is pretty good. But I'd sure like to watch TFA in Atmos!

I'm looking more forward to Rogue One in Atmos.

Sometimes they do now, unfortunately. I've cancelled orders and seen it on my statement, charged and refunded. It says when you cancel, if you've been charged you'll get a refund in 5 - 7 days.

I remember a few months back they did start charging for orders when they were place but I thought they came out and said it was all a system error and wouldn't happen again, I certainly haven't had it happen since November last year.

Don't get your hopes up too much. Disney doesn't have the best track record for good atmos mixes, when compared to the existing 5.1 or 7.1 tracks on the blurays.

Fingers crossed, though.

I'll be honest: the audio quality is my biggest worry about these (new) releases. A big reason of why I went UHD is Atmos (and DTS-X)...and almost every Disney release has been poor in that regard.

I really, REALLY hope that Disney give us proper Atmos mixes this time but with how things have been going for a while, I am afraid that might not happen.

All Star Wars movies have great DTS-HD MA mixes (THX era sound quality and specs) except TLJ (and Solo) and the only Atmos mix is from TLJ and it is really bad.

Disney just doesn't care.

Happened multiple times to me recently. It says when you cancel, if you've been charged, you'll be refunded in 5 - 7 days.

Unknown at this time. There hasn't been a "regular" 4K set announced yet.
