My best concert would have to be a little get together with some musicians that a few of you may have heard about.

[Show spoiler]LIVE AID - July 13, 1985 - Phila., PA. - JFK Stadium.

2nd best would be the First AND Only time I saw "QUEEN" - Sept. 26, 1980
[Show spoiler](<---- Ironically, that was ONE day After LED ZEP's John Bonham died, on 9/25/80. Of course you Know Freddie dedicated WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS to their dear friend, John "Bonzo" Bonham )
.

3rd on that list, probably WOODSTOCK 99' - Of course, the MAIN Reason I bought tix were that "AEROSMITH" were going to headline again, just like at WS 94'. But, $$$$$ issues reared their ugly head, & they pulled out

I'll bet those were some awesome shows.

I used to go to lots of concerts back in my heyday. Not so much these days.

[Show spoiler]It really sucks, but sometimes, you gotta pull out.

LIVE AID was beyond anything you can think of. Aside from it being 95 degrees by 9am or so, it was a fun spectacular day. Watching QUEEN steal the day via satellite from London was unbelievable (they had screens, as you may recall, at JFK Stadium for the cutaways to London). Watching the LED ZEP train wreck w/Phil Collins (who FLEW OVER on the CONCORDE from London after His own set there!! ), as well as almost literally running into Legendary Rock Promoter, BILL GRAHAM (!!!), a day or two before the show as he was leaving the grounds in a car (he was in the passenger seat, & I had just come out of the subway station near the Navy base). Seriously, I was about 20-30 yds away from "the Man."

WS 99' was a Lot of fun, but on an old Air Force Base, so LOTS of Concrete, & it was also BLAZING Hot/Humid --- But, the Mass Qty's of topless babes with Artfully painted boobs more than made up for it. I wonder if I can post some pics of that here (?). They're topless but you can't really see nipples

It wouldn't bother me , and I'm pretty sure no one around here would report you. I would guess that if the mods found it inappropriate, they would probably just remove it, but don't take my word on that.

Good afternoon Travis. I'm not doing too much hopping tonight. I'm about to head off to bed.

I ordered the Alien Anthology about a day and a half ago, and it still says "Shipping Soon". I want it now!

Enjoy your start to the weekend. Mine starts in about 15 hours.

I'll shoot CB/Brent or JV (Johnny Vinly) a pm first. I just have them on film (4x6 photos), so I'd prob just take pics of them with my phone & post em'. Since my New SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 takes Superb Photos, I'm sure they'll look fine here.

Oh, they exist, alright. --- I took a decent amount of pics over the 3 days of everything, diff bands, etc. But for 90-95% of the girls photos, I asked if they wouldn't mind & most really didn't --- A few did, & thanked me for ASKING first (what a concept!). We're not talking 50 or 100+ photos of the girls, prob under 20, if that.

Hi Russ.

Just got home from work, and my old guitarist is coming over to jam and party in a little bit. This is the first two day weekend I've had in about a month, and I'm ready to enjoy it.

I've never heard SO Many say the exact same thing from one event, which was, "They STOLE the Show!!" - which you hear quite often from different artists/bands at different events (think HENDRIX at Woodstock, for example), but this time, it was the consensus of pretty much Every Media outlet that day.

Tony Levin is one of my favorite bass players.

He's not quite on par with Stanley Clarke though.
