That would be pretty dope. I'd love to have them individually myself.

So I was recommended this printer today for printing Blu-ray covers and I would like to hear what you all think. I was going to get the LaserJet Pro M477fdn but I wanted to get a wireless printer instead which is what I prefer.

Canon Pixma ip8720 I have an older version of this model (and actually had the version before that one as well). They print very nice covers and have the added benefit of the ability to print on discs. (This was the primary reason I picked up this printer). Quote:

This is by far the best cover art for Silver Bullet, and I believe that was done originally for Italian poster. There isn't weak moments in Enzo Sciotti's poster art gallery. Glad that even one distributor (Koch Media) took that for their mediabook cover. Even though the films PQ is what it is.

Just wanting to get into printing some of these, and I'm just wondering if the first post of this thread still holds up? There have been some outstanding covers shown here, and just wanted to thank those that have created them, and try to get them printed and added to my collection

HP Glossy Brochure Paper This stuff is glossy on both sides so you can print reverse art as well. There is a couple of different weights available, I've used between 44lb and 48lb and like both equally. If you have an ebay account I recommend checking there for the stuff. Last summer I found a seller that sold me 6 packages of it for $35 shipped. I'm essentially set for years and years as far as custom covers go. Prior to that I had ordered from ebay on several occassions and paid anywhere from $10- $18 shipped for a single package of 50 pieces of paper. |

I got the older UK edition of Man Who Fell To Earth and while it is technically the original poster art, it has a different font and the art itself is smaller. Are there any customs out there that replicate the original poster down to its font? I'd love one!

Don't know if this is useful to anyone, but I finally got around to printing some new covers by Nissen (found earlier in the thread).
I used a Canon MG5650 printer using Epsom glossy photo paper with the settings on 'high'. I put the images into a word document to I could resize them to be accurate (15cm H 27cm W) and printed like that. I'm really pleased with how they turned out. |
