What is going on with Western Digital? I need to upgrade my RAID 5 soon, but the 300 dollar 12 TB Red drives I bought earlier this year have been priced at over 450 dollars for months. I'm tempted to mix hard drive speeds by adding a Seagate Ironwolf, which have stayed at 300 dollars.

Supposedly, the Seagate would just be reduced to the 5400 RPM of the other drives without any issues. But some people say it isn't ideal.

Edit: Oh, it's because WD replaced their 12 TB Red 5400 RPM with a 7200 RPM and Amazon doesn't have that new model. So it seems like I will HAVE to mix hard drives of different speeds.

I do like Majora's Mask a bit more. But yeah, none of the later 3D Zeldas ever outdid those first two for me.

If I ever get published either poetry or fiction or even my memoir/journal through my mental illness. if anything happens I don't know how I feel but it can't be worse than right now feeling rejected and alone in many ways.

You should try going to a therapy group that has more people with issues like yours.

We had freezing rain this morning that reeked havoc on the highways. There were several huge accidents and a couple of people died.
I have four wheel drive, but I'll feel much better after tomorrow when I get my A/T's put back on my truck for winter driving.

for the last week it seems my heel on my left foot has been hurting ever since I stepped on something (maybe a rock?) sharp. I might have to see a doctor but its weird sometimes its better and other times its hard to walk but when I am not walking it doesn't hurt. It is fine after being in hot water for a bit so I don't know,

Freezing rain is an instant day off or work from home for me, not worth risking my life, my cars life or any other issue that can occur like falling on your ass and breaking it

. I have learned that no matter what the work, it will be there in the morning for you, no need to try and be a hero to say you slid your way into work. I have always had 4wd trucks but they too are worthless if you are on ice, in fact worse as momentum is what gets you in the most trouble on icy roads imo.

Me when one of the grannies I work with tells one of our coworkers that we used to work with women who couldn't stand her.

You're bossy, rude, pushy, lazy, all of the things you complain about other people being. Every time you or your BFF granny open your mouth and tell me to do something, it just makes me not want to do it. I've gotten ruder and ruder in my responses, I don't see that changing. I don't work for either of them and neither of them have the right to tell me what to do.

Every time I come home after several days on the road, it feels like the day I moved in for the first time - everything fresh and brand new. No matter how many days it was - 4 or 14 - it's always the same. Such a great feeling. Makes you appreciate home more.

Tired of living in a nowhere area with nothing around and refuse to put anything in or around. it takes me about a 45-50 minute bus ride one way to get to any kind of things that's not a grocery store or fast good place.

This past summer they changed the bus schedules. Where they would go every 90 minutes down there. Now they go twice a day. Once at 7:30am and another at 3:30pm.

Then once i get down there around 8:20am if i took the early bus. the next bus wouldn't come back until 4:30pm. That's not the problem. if i went there there Mon-Thurs and wanted to go to the movies. I have to wait at least 6 hours or so. Cause the first show Mon-Thurs don't start till 2pm. Only matinees Fri-Sun start early at noon. So if I were to go. I have to wait at least 6 hours or so.

I've been on vacation all this week and haven't done anything or gone anywhere.

But i guess ultimately my fault for not driving. and relying on public transportation to get anywhere. Could have at least have a bus go at 11am or so Mon-Fri.

Guy at work told me he's quitting his job early next year because his company is going to be requiring COVID vaccinations. Told him I was sorry to hear it. What I REALLY wanted to say was What the Hell's wrong with you!? I'm tired of all the conspiracy theorists who refuse to acknowledge this is a very real health concern. The longer they deny there's a crisis, the longer this will stick around. Anyway, this guy is actually willing to walk off the job instead of getting a shot. Good luck sitting around your Mom's house all day doing nothing.

On my mind, My Love is looking at a place for us tomorrow.
When I left my hometown a couple of years ago, I thought that it was going to be permanent. Funny how things can change.
She’s a very special Woman and I want to be with her more often than I have been. Gotta be in the same town for that to happen, hahaha!
I’m hoping that we get this place very, very badly!

Came across an interview on YouTube of the director of one of those low budget direct-to-video action flicks where Bruce Willis appears for five minutes to give a completely disinterested and lifeless performance, of which he probably has 15-20 movies like this now. I know a director isn't going to trash his own movie or the biggest name in his movie, but the whole thing just rang false and dishonest with how much praise Willis was getting for being a "professional."
