I just spoke with the woman who answered (operator I guess). She gave me the update immediately when I asked, so she's probably been asked all day. I'll take their word for it for now. No biggie. If it doesn't ship by next week then I may consider cancelling and getting it elsewhere.

For the record they never promised it would ship on the 26th. At least not in the e-mail I received. This is exactly what my e-mail stated...

"Our best estimate from the distributor is that orders should ship on or around September 26, 2013."

Obviously this means it could ship slightly later than the 26th, so again no big deal. Most likely we'll see more shipping next week. I only ordered mine on Sept. 12th, so I'm not too upset about it. For those who ordered it months ago I can understand your frustration.

The only thing I received was my paypal invoice after I ordered from the official website. Nothing about shipping estimate.

I haven't noticed anybody mention this yet, so I'll just point out that there's an easter egg on disc 2 after the trailers.

The first disc is 3 hours and 51 minutes, and the second disc is 2 hours and 49 minutes, so 6 hours and 40 minutes total.

Somebody did mention that there was an easter egg on the bonus disc. I didn't notice any on the second Blu-Ray disc after the trailers, but I popped in the second DVD and it is there. I don't know if it's on after the trailers, but you can find it hidden in one of the menus. It's not much though. Just a live performance from Ari Lehman's band "First Jason" performing at the Viper Room.

On the official Facebook group this was just posted 2 hours ago. Looks like those back orders will ship tomorrow...

"The new shipment arrived today. We are told that the remaining backlogged orders will be shipped out by tomorrow (9/27). Look out for a confirmation email with tracking information from either CAVD.com or stamps.com"

The bonus disc that was supposed to be 4 hours is 4 hours and 20 minutes, so we end up with the promised 11 hours. Wish there was commentary on the bonus disc, as it's my favorite. Just started watching the discs with the commentary tracks yesterday and the commentary is fairly entertaining if you're really into the Friday the 13th series. Was surprised at how much "inside" work these guys do for the actual studios and the actual Friday the 13th series. Sort of explains the lack of hard questions in the doc.

Live except for that they put a studio recording of his voice over his actual live voice, making it so the lip-syncing is sometimes laughably off. Using a keyboard as an electric guitar is ... interesting? It looks like about 11 people are in the audience.

I have a question for everyone who has seen his name was Jason and read the crystal lake memories book. is this new doc worth it? is there any new storys or information? is it still entertaining? ive been on the fence about this release. I loved the never sleep again doc but there was never any definitive books or documentaries of any sort.

im thinking about buying the dvd copys off someone who bought the blu ray on ebay or somewhere

I really enjoyed watching it and I've read and seen everything there is. There's not really any new information but it's well edited and moves fast.

I think sometimes it's good to see people talking rather than to read it, too... I got the impression in the book a lot of the cast of 4 were not thrilled with their movie but watching them talk in CLM they seem happy with it.

Hi,

I too received my shipping notice, finally!! although I received two e-mails, with two different tracking numbers, so I'm guessing one is for the bluray and the other for the bonus disc.

Just finished the Part3 and Final Chapter segments. Very interesting, never knew the twins were Brits.

And exactly what colour is Corey Feldman?
