I don't see what's confusing about it, that's a fantastic cover for one of the best non-anime animated films of all time.

After seeing the cover up close and without any thing in the way I must say I love it even more. Day 1 buy for sure.

All the more reason to wait for this new technology to settle before diving in (and determine if it will even sustain). It seems more evidant that early adopters are getting scr**ed with expensive sets and lack of content. Even if I do double-buy 2d and 3d versions of the same film in the future, the reduced TV and disk prices down the road will more than make up the difference.

Dreamworks are being serious jerks.

Basically if you want How to Train Your Dragon in 3D you have to buy overpriced Samsung equitment and then you have to buy the 2D release for extras since all exclusive releases seem to be bare-bones.

Thats hundreds possibly thousands of dollars to own one movie in 3D. If you now doubt that Dreamworks are being greedy lowlifes I don't know what else will convince you. These exclusive releases are killing the 3D market and only contribute the perception of 3D as a niche elite product that the general public should hold out on. For 3D to succeed it needs general 3D day to date releases at a reasonable price.

So far only 3 3D movies have been confirmed for general retail release this year with one avalible now and thats not good enough to justify the investment in requires. Sometimes I wonder if the studios actually want 3D to fail.

While I'm not supporting the fact that they are doing these exclusive bundles with Samsung, if this is something that would get somebody interested in buying a 3D TV, then they will already be spending well over a thousand dollars anyways. For people that already have a TV though, it sucks that you have to pay for the starter kit and not just the movie.

Can someone like write a post or a reply with all the other versions of this Blu Ray? Like the Target one and the Walmart one, if there are any?

So far the only ones announced are the standard release and the player exclusive 3D release.

Oh, I hate it when I order a blu ray or a DVD off of amazon and the dvd arrives without a slip case... And so far, with all the unboxing of the Dreamworks blu rays, non of them have a slip case.

This one would definitely have one if you order it right when it comes out, initial run releases tend to have slips on them.

If it comes with a slip, there's a 100% chance you will get one then.

The only Dreamworks animation blu-rays that had slipcovers were the Target Exclusive BD/DVD combos so unless you got them from Target MvA, KFP, Madagascar 1/2, or Shrek 3 never came with a slip.

What are usually in those exclusive combos. Come to think of it, even the new Monsters VS aliens 3D BD didnt have a slip cover..
