I actually like THE DEFENDERS. O'Connell and Belushi make a good duo and the side characters are likeable as well.

And how in the hell is FRINGE on the verge of cancelation? It's easily one of the best shows on tv these days.

I completely agree on both accounts. I think The Defenders is actually really quite good. It's a great show and I like it a lot. I really hope it survives. And Fringe may not get the ratings, but is it really on the verge of cancellation? Because I thought Fox said they would stand behind it and not cancel it?

If they take my Chuck and Community, they might as well cancel everything else on the network because NBC will officially be dead to me.

I'm just sick and tired of mismanagement with NBC. That network has been a disaster for years and they cancel everything that's good. It's across all networks my favorite are endangered though, I think if this is the season Chuck, Community, and Fringe end, I might just abandon network tv for awhile until things get fixed. The majority of everything I love is on cable and at least I know those shows are safe. I'm tired of not being able to appreciate and love the great shows out of fear of them being taken away from me.

This is why I don't worry about the ratings as much anymore. I know Chuck could be done after this season, but it has been that way since after Season Two. I know I am definitely getting all 13 of the planned episodes. I do hope we get the back 9, but beyond that I don't give it much thought. Same goes for Fringe, minus the whole 13 episodes talk of course. Now, if Chuck and Fringe don't get proper endings, I will be furious. I already know how I want Chuck to end.

The thing that it really screws with is watching new shows. Watching Chase and knowing it could be gone the very next week sucks. I still watch it and enjoy it, but the way things are does make it hard to bother with new shows as much as I would. Like you said, cable shows are much safer. A lot of them get lives that some network TV shows should get too.
