Picked up Edward Scissorhands, Sleepy Hollow, Cocktail and The Color of Money.

I previewed the first ten minutes of The Color of Money and found it nowhere as bad as the stated review on this site. Is it perfect? No. But it's leaps and bounds better than my DVD version. Just based on the first ten minutes I would probably give the video presentation a 3 or 3.5. I'm glad I picked it up for $8.

I was elbow-deep in the $7.88 bin today, and came up with "Friday the 13th, Part 3 3-D." A completely unexpected and wonderful find for me.

Also found "Defiance," which I've been waiting to see below $9.99 for a while.

PS: A CSR asked if I needed help, and I said "Yeah, put things back the way they were before this ridiculous 'pile in a bin' setup." He agreed, but said this is how they were *told* to do it.

You'd think they'd sell more if they were organized to make it easier for their customers.

Oh well.

I suppose it can be kinda fun (thrill of the hunt) if you have time and/or are just browsing, but when you know exactly what title(s) you're looking for, it's just brutal.

I will say this; they've improved/increased the titles available for $7.88 (at least at my store).

Unless there is some super deal that has been posted, I will never spend my time going through these bins again. Wal-mart has lost my business with this kind of stupid crap. The times I have gone through them in the past, I NEVER put them back. I know the employees are not at fault, but maybe it will go up the chain and they will stop this foolish way of displaying their movies.

Imagine a world where Walmarts simply took one of those p.o.s. Sauder bookshelves they sell, and displayed their $7.88 Blu-rays in alphabetical order.

I saw Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker in there the other day. I also saw Sucker Punch. I don't like it but it's got a cult fanbase, so someone will definitely want it. Oh, and I'm pretty sure I saw Wrestlemania 28.

I'm going back tonight since I didn't buy any yesterday. I'm crossing my fingers that I can find GoodFellas and Casino somewhere in that pile.
