Personally, I think Christine had a bit more of an inbuilt fan base, so I don't expect it to sell out quite as fast. But I do definitely believe it will sell out and sell out in the pre-order phase.

I am absolutely going to be ready for when the pre-order goes up.

No question about it selling out, just like their other horror titles...Horror movies are by far the best selling titles any studio can release outside of the mainstream titles like the Hobbit, which is why we often get the double dips for them

2nd half of 2014 for The Blob? I'd say almost a year and a half is enough time to learn about the release so nobody can say "I didn't know about it" . I seriously hope they'll have other horror titles on tap before then

If it's released at the end of the year and considering when it was first mentioned as a title it could be a full two years. A lot of people will probably forget about it until then. They have a long wait assuming it doesn't get pushed to 2015.

Not according to TT. They don't have any more horror titles in the pipeline any time soon. I just posted the info in the TT release thread.

So presumably October of next year. I actually might skip this one. The more that I think about it, the more I feel like the DVD is good enough and not worth a $35 upgrade.
