Depends what you got from varick. Arms or chest?

Either way, you need an ascended exotic, 1 of varicks armour pieces and then 2 etheric lights to ascend your remaining armour slots.

Etheric light you get from PoE 34 and 35. So most you can get is 2 per week per character.

That will boost your current legendary gear from light lvl 36 to 42.

Or you could do it the slow way and just wait for weekly reset and just keep picking up varicks armour until your done.

For my Titan I ascended my Exotic helmet and got the gloves from varicks week one and then did 34 and 35 PoE to get 2 etheric light to boost my chest piece and legs to hit 34.

Yeah, I haven't seen many happy customers from those, lol. I got a rocket launcher with shank burn.......yeah. Then last night I got the exact same arms he sold last week, same with mega. Some more of bungies shenanigans!

That's why it's a gamble! Lol I i got lucky and got 2 pieces of armor that saved me from using light to upgrade for now.

It's also possible to get the from the Nightfall. I just got one this week. Although that's more of a gamble than the other ways possible.

Well, I have ran the nightfall for this week already, so that is out. what is ToO?

Well, I tried to do some farming last night, but I couldn't manage to get a key. I did run the level 28 PoE with some randoms, but I didn't get anything out of that; I say I didn't get anything, but I did get a legendary ship out of it! That is the first time that I ever have had a ship drop for me. I will use it for a while for the novelty, but I like my other ship better. I tried last night using some different weapons; I am leveling up my admonisher, Black Hammer, and Universal Remote now. I am not too crazy about this combo, but at least it breaks up the monotony of key farming. I am still trying to get used to getting that close for the Universal remote to work.


I am looking forward to Xur tonight and hopefully getting some armor upgrades!

Ahh. I really don't like PVP in this game though. It is ridiculously dependent on your connection to the host and the hope that your random group doesn't go up against a team.

Well, I played some more, farm a couple keys and got a few lucky drops. I am still just at level 33, but hopefully I can run level 32 PoE this week and get another piece of gear to help get me closer to level 34. I will mention that I have found new Exotic weapon and armor piece yesterday. I got the heavy weapon machine gun, Thunderlord and the Chest piece Purifer's Robes. Thunderlord is a damage increase over my last heavy weapon, so that is getting equipped and used. I also decided to level up the Robes as well since it gives my radiance a disorienting effect when I use it from death. Otherwise, the robes are pretty much the same level as the armor I already had. I finished leveling my auto rifle, and I found a legendary scout rifle that does as much damage as it, so I have switched over to using that now. Tonight I hope to get a group together to run the nightfall and the level 32 PoE.

To those who don't already know, Bungie released a "hot fix" if you will that increases the chances of you getting treasure keys. You'll be guaranteed a treasure key when you turn in your first Wanted bounty of the week to Eris Morn. Here's what else is included in the hot fix.

Did the Weekly, nightfall, and level 32 PoE last night thanks to some guys from my forums. I ended up getting a new helmet to bump me to 33.5, so I just need to get some new leg armor, and I will be set!

We fought against Quron and his gaze bubbles again. We kept wiping over and over on him even at level 32. We eventually figured out that we have to stand really close together so that our attacks would hit everyone's bubbles and we could get out. That strategy worked quite well, and we took out the boss that way.

He's at the tower, near the doors outside of the Speaker. Same old pre-DLC armor, Mida Multi-Tool, and chest engrams. Kind of a let down.

If you've got three people with Gjallarhorn or ascended rocket launchers, you can beat Qodron in less than 40 seconds. Have a Titan pop a weapons of light bubble in between the two arches as you come out of the door... then you all step out, fire rockets until you're dry, pop a heavy synth in the bubble, then repeat. If you time it right, he'll go down quick. If not, you may have to go through ONE round of the bubbles.

Spent 4 hours last night trying to do 35... Got all the way to Skolas and couldn't do it. At that point, it was 3 a.m. and we were all just DONE. Watched every video we could find on how to beat him and it just wasn't happening! Gjallahorn... snipers... weapons of light bubbles... Never even got him half-way down. Screw you, Bungie, for not letting us checkpoint it and come back to it later!

This is why I refuse to even try level 35 POE. I know it'll end up wearing me out.

I'm gonna wait to do it until it has a more beneficial burn. When it gets solar burn on the last boss, I'll just Gjallarhorn the hell out of him. In the meantime, I'll stick to 32 and 34!

Do you get anything from the boss? Is there any reason to actually do it?

That level 32 boss this week was a ***** to kill. He'd constantly re-heal himself while you have to take out a second target before he got to a certain point. It's like Bungie doesn't want people to succeed.
