No one said they need to give a warning. I didn't think I'd get kicked off immediately for broaching the wrong subject. It wasn't like I was harassing someone or posting porn. Plus the rules say that if the movie being discussed directly relates to politics then you're free to talk about it. It was the unpopular opinion thread and such a movie was brought up. Either way, what's done is done. Better stop before I derail this thread.

A lot of people have brought up white actors playing a person of another race. Does anyone know examples of the opposite? I can imagine it happening in some Asian countries. It wouldn't offend me, but would be interesting to know.

Nah it's not fantasy but throughout the movie all the actors played different races for their characters.

A lot of older films, like here...North Korea might still do it but who knows what goes on there.

I've always hated that Guy Pearce donned old man make up for Prometheus, i know there was supposed to be some shots of him 'young' but they never made it in the final cut and that crap should have been ironed out looong before filming began.
