Sounds pretty awesome, and similar to Oz: The Great and Powerful. Let's hope for this one from RSM!

The ICP short film Bowling Balls has only had an anaglyph release thus far. Wikipedia says it's the first 3D film in digital HD. Which is suspect, but cool if true.

My copy came with lil anaglyph glasses!

You can remove Jumanji: The Next Level from this list, the13thman.

Some people over in the Jumanji: The Next Level thread have received their copies in the mail recently.

The 1952 cartoon The Owl and The Pussycat apparently only got a 2D release on Blu Ray.

Only this, which I agree, seems uncertain.

No 3D-related credits in the end scroll for The Darkest Minds (2018). Not sure about that one.

Tanhaji is not native 3D. It's a 3D conversion by DNEG/Prime Focus' India division.

Spies in Disguise and The Addams Family are stereo conversions by DNEG too. Even some animated movies are being preferentially converted now.

Not an entirely new development. Hoodwinked Too, Escape from Planet Earth and Ratchet & Clank were all conversions.

There was a new Indian movie called BellBottom that got a 3D theatrical release, only in India I believe. The Blu-Ray.com poster even has “3D” on it. Think I read it was converted

Yep, the 3D version was only released in India, and it was converted.

More Indian films are getting released in 3D, such as '83, Brahmastra and some regional films.

Since this now-in-theaters film "The King’s Daughter", was filmed wayyyyy back in 2014, prime-time for 3D, does it have a 3D version out there that wasn't released?

Yes, The King's Daughter was converted to 3D in 2018 by BigSharksStudio for the Chinese market. 3D version has not been released.

https://www.bigsharksstudio.com/port...3d-conversion/

David E. Franks was the on-set stereoscopic consultant during filming.

Thanks. The PR that I've seen for this makes it look like it could have been 3D, which would be explained by an on-set stereoscopic consultant. Did this film release in China circa 2018 then?

I'm looking at that Big Shark Studio's website and, like the other 3D converters' sites, it looks so barebones. The page states that it is a portfolio but, so far as my browser shows, there are no video clips or images, so they're using a movie no one can see to show their chops.

No, it hasn't released in China yet.

There's a clip in this demo reel, as well as one from RoboCop:

Here you go:
https://www.sohu.com/a/294444693_793466

All of Light Chaser Animation Studios' films have been released in 3D. From what I can tell, they have a native 3D production pipeline like Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Illumination, etc. in the USA.

You can follow what movies are released in China in 3D here:

I don't know anything about "Bungalow". Seems like a decent number of short films were shot with StereoVision 3-D for Japanese expos and science museums in the early to mid 1980s.

Contrary to Wikipedia and other sources, Blu-ray.com members suggest that Magnificent Bodyguards was shot with the same Super Touch/Optimax III system as Dynasty and Revenge of the Shogun Women, based on the rig shown in behind-the-scenes footage in a trailer.

I've tried mightily to find any other info on this particular film over the years, using Google Translate to trawl Japanese sites, but I've found precisely zero. It doesn't help that 'Bungalow' is such a generic word, which means that if you paste it into the search box of said Japanese sites, all you get are some quite lovely shots of, er... bungalows. Now, if they'da called the film SEX ORGY OF THE INTESTINE EATERS or something, then it woulda been easy. But no - they had to go and call it BUNGALOW...

It's been a l-o-o-o-n-n-g time since I made a note of that info for MG, so I don't recall where I got it, but it's no surprise the filmmakers used the same kind of cameras. It actually makes more sense. Happy to be corrected on that one! I shall now flog myself copiously, and send myself to bed without any supper...
