TrentW1982: your fantastic reply may not have lived long on this board, but it survived long enough to be in my digest -- it was well stated.

At any rate, The Blues Brothers has fun stuff for folk on both sides of the isle, has fantastic music, and much nostalgia for probably most of us. I'm looking forward to this UHD release on the lowest-cost, non-steelbook, tat-lacking package I can find.

They did it directly to annoy you, they don't expect sales as nobody likes it

Hey Dog!

Best Buy dropped the pre-release price to $19.99 when I looked today.
So you get a great comedy film (yea, shocking, I know) for the same price as the Tom Cruise 4K catalogue releases, plus the steelbook’s included.

Win-Win in my book!

Hi, does anyone know why Zavvi is charging £29.99 for the standard version pre-order when everyone else has it up for 19.99?, sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Mine has arrived today. Just checked and no HDR10+ which is listed on the site. Also 47 Ronin UK has hdr10+ logos on it but that was dropped too.

Was hdr10+ on the press release? Seems to be getting rarer now.

I think more studios are dropping it. There is not much difference between it and HDR10 for capable displays anyway (it was designed around 500 nit type displays, which seems very odd to me as only the crappiest flat panel displays are that low - even many 4k projectors can reach higher than 500 in small parts of the image) and the studios then don't have to pay Samsung a fee. Yes, HDR10+ does have a licensing fee structure compared to standard, static HDR10 that doesn't.

That is not true, especially since HDR10+ has a lower nit threshold. Your anti-DV ranting is getting tiresome.

That wasn't that, they are stupid and outrageous.

And directed at the people doing the opposite.
So unless you are going to police the hate in the IMAX thread or the X hate, keep it to yourself.
I have both formats and there is no desernable difference at all on my display.

Have there been any pictures of the SteelBook on social media anywhere (or does anyone have it in hand)? My three Cruise 4Ks were already shipped from BB but this Steel hasn’t yet. Hoping it didn’t get delayed.

So can you 100% definitively confirm that both the theatrical and the extended cuts are in 4K?

If anyone gets the BestBuy Steelbook can you confirm a digital code is included?

I love all these... "mine came in today comments." It sounds more like bragging.

So what, really! They should comment and give some info after they've watched it.
