Well I've had it spoiled for me and it's not like anything we've seen, unless simply having Galactus and Surfer is roughly the same.

I wish they'd saved both characters for a future story and gone with Annihilus but c'est la vie

Marvel used up a lot of their Fantastic Four villains on other properties, so blame them. Even Annihilus, you will see him soon, but not in a Fantastic Four movie.

That wasn't "MCU", I don't blame anyone. I don't care if some crap cartoons feature the characters, I want a legit movie.

Annihilus (hearing gonna appear in something else) Attuma, Ego, Klaw, Inhumans, Namor, Super Skrull, Rama-Tut, Ronan, etc, are usually assosiated with Fantastic Four. Not to mention, you are making Doom into an Avengers villain.

Alba is okay at best. Her Sue Storm is bad though. Not cuz of her but cuz of Story/Fox. They pretty much knocked her back decades in character development.

I forgot, they also did Galactus dirty. I don't like the changes Fox made to the characters and Disney, by recent films, promises to do a lot worse. We'll see when it hits Disney plus. You, probably sooner, but personally I won't pay to see a Disney movie until they get their act back together.

I don't dislike Alba, she just not a good fit. When she was first announced to be in a Fantastic Four movie, I thought she was going to be a regular supporting character. But no, she was Storm all along. I was like, what!? Okay, whatever. After seeing the movies, yeah I was right, she is not a good fit. Felt like she was only casted only cause she was hot at the time and the studios were obtuse.

Not at all. Her Sue Storm literally shifted back the characterization by decades. Sue Storm hadn't been like that in forever as a person and it was just poor writing overall in those films.

Saying that, I did like Doug Jones' acting w/ Fishburne overlayed as the voice. But could have done w/o Fishburne too. Jones maybe could have done the voice better. Or someone else too, I dunno. It's fine. It doesn't impress me is all.

Alba was an albatross on those films and the character. I like the first 2, its good for kids, 3rd was so terrible, hopeful for this one

YIKES! I can't believe all of the hate for Jessica Alba.

Everyone hates Good Luck Chuck and yet another film I think she's great in as well as her role in Little Fockers. Look she's no Audrey Hepburn but she is a decent actress. A helluva lot better than Dakota Johnson in Madame Web. Now that is wooden bad acting.

I thought the cast for the first two FF were dead on. Silver Surfer was awesome.

The Fantastic Four I was hoping for and was happy to get.

Smart Chris Evans though knew he was on the Titanic and left for America. He was great as Johnny Storm and was glad to see him once again Flame On!

I feel so bad for Jessica Alba based on these comments, guess she'll be crying all the way to the bank [not from acting though].

Wow, so much hatred for Jessica Alba. Even Stan Lee said she was perfect for the role. I think the original cast were all the best choices for their characters and that includes Jessica. She managed to convey the softness of Sue's character, while also portraying her firm determination and compassion. Not at all far off from how the character was portrayed in the 80s during John Byrne's run.

Audrey Hepburn is hardly some great barometer of acting either. To quote Emma Thompson, she's very twee.

That aside, I agree that the castings for both FF movies were superb. Would have happily watched a third film.

People hating on Jessica forget how close she was to the role. She wanted to introduce Franklin Richards in the third movie as well. She had more emotional investment and knowledge about her character than most superhero actors today.
