Joker is gone from Nolan's future Batman work, period. I imagine that includes Harley Quinn, was hoping she'd be in Dark Knight but no such luck.

Sounds good to me! But there is no question we will see The Joker many, many more times, just not with Nolan at the helm.

Nolan has alot of respect for Ledger and wasnt even gonna do a Batman 3..

so he wont be showing Joker at all..
he basicly confirmed that ages ago in 2008
After Ledgers Death..

but i did see a Confirm on batman 3 script work being done. so its very late in process. we wont see our B3 until 2012 or 2013
sounds like Nolans gonna be busy with Superman..
so it will take awhile

I would rather wait 10 years for another Batman than for it to be done wrong. Whenever Nolan wants to do it, I'll be there with my cash.

Strong Confidence. my man..

i am too. i would much rather wait a long time. for Batman 3. and for the script to be perfect and for Nolans vision to really flesh out for the Third film
and just to take it easy and slow..

I agree that Ledger's performance should be it for the Joker in this run of Batman. Any other actor would have to immitate the performace (which I doubt anyone would want to do) and they could only fall short. Even if an actor does a better job, it would be worse because it wouldn't be the same. No way to win.

Regarding Angelina Jolie, I think my main issue with her is that her life is considered more interesting and published more than any of her characters or movies. I like that Christina Bale and Edward Norton say 'the more you know about my life, the less you can believe in my characters'. When I see Angelina Jolie on the screen, I see Angelina Jolie, not the character. Having her in Batman would take me out of the film and maybe that is my own problem; but it is still a problem.

Cool that Nolan is "mentoring" Superman. It seems like DC doesn't know what to do with out him.

Exactly. Also, I like Depp, but he is just too popular. I don't want to see another weird Depp incarnation in Batman.

He's not George Romero. It doesn't take him a decade to come up with another good movie.

all the time in the world he has
to get the right Vision for Batman 3..

i think a Good Estimated year for the Third film would be

2011 or 2012..

we havent heard much about Batman 3. so we wont see it for a long time. to come

i have never seen anybody talk about Angelina like that..
it makes sence. i suppose. but hell, i was just regarding Batman 3 i personally think she wouldnt be a bad Spot for Catwoman..
but there are alot of other Female Lead Actors that could play

What about Kate Beckinsale as Catwoman! she plays a badass In underworld?
her and Christian Bale would be neat to see On Screen!

To each his own. If you would like her as Catwoman, good for you

She does play a bad-ass in Underworld and she does wear a tight leather outfit. Plus, it would coincide with Nolan liking to hire non-Americans to play Americans and she does a great American accent (Click). I think she and Bale would match.

As to Eva Green as Harley Quinn, I say yes. She is a terrific actress IMO.

I completely agree. After Heath Ledger, there is no Joker to me. It just wouldn't be the same after what he did for that movie. I didn't know he was going to be playing the Joker until pictures were released, I never thought anything of it. But when the trailer came out... that was it for me. Move onto another villian. And I also agree, no Angelina Jolie. She's not a bad actress, I just don't really like any of her movies.

I dont like the idea of casting so beautiful actress such as angelina or kate, because this new batman series is kinda more life like (if you know what i mean), they would have fitted in those pathetic movies directed by Schumacher.

They should keep casting pretty good and charming actors like the ones they already used, not sex symbols in my opinion.

Depp is a must to keep on with the good work, and i can't think of anyone better than him to make a good successor of a villain after heath's joker. Being the riddle that is.

I still hope that Nolan goes for a better Villain than Riddler, even though Depp would be very good I think.

ClayFace (or the entire Mud Pack) would be more to my liking. But since I don't see the main villain being CGI in Nolan's movies someone like Killer Croc or Solomon Grundy would be great.

And If it's going to be a female villain, please make it Poison Ivy. That Uma Thurman version was pathetic. Do for Poison Ivy what Ledger did for The Joker.

Considering that every Nolan movie I have seen has been spectacular (the 2 Batman movies and The Prestige) I can see why DC and Warner wants him involved.

You haven't seen Memento yet? Check it out, if you can. Insomnia and Following are very good, too.

a Wicked Poison Ivy.. would be awesome

and a really creepy. like effect when she kills people. i mean it would be awesome to see a Even Darker side of the film with the B3..

and i would love to see Poison IVY!

if anybody should play Poison IVY it should be..
Famke Janssen she was Phoneix in The X-men Trilogy..
Julianne Moore could do it.. shes a little older but still

or Erica Leerhsen but she was in Blair Witch Project 2.. i dont think she has had very high budget films.. so i highly doubt they would get her..
but she isnt bad

How about the Woman Herself..

Natasha Henstridge she was in Species. but she could Play that crazy.. Poison IVY so good. it would be amazing,
she is so seductive in her Species Roles.. just dye her hair.. Red, and were good to go..
