I would love to see Depp in a 3rd film but not as The Joker and please do not bring Angelina into the project. I don't think the 3rd film will have the same dark affect with her in it.. I think Depp can bring that on his own.

If Depp is in, he should be the Riddler. Do not go back to the Joker, there is no reason too. He had his movie, just like Scarecrow. R'as Al Ghul is the only character that should ever be able to come back and that has to do with his actual comic book character using the Lazarus Pit's to revive.

I agree. Although the intention was to use the Joker primarily for the movie, it is impossible to do so. So, why not just move on to another villain to cause Bruce Wayne/Batman trouble? Depp would be a perfect Riddler IMO. And please, no Angelina!

I mean maybe another actor can play it somehow good enough in case they want the Joker again, but having Johnny Depp playing the other Villain.

I remember watching the trailer of TDK like 20 times in a row when they released it, just the Joker's voice/laugh made me love his interpretation, and that was some months before his death (to all those who say its overrated because of it) to me at least, it is not.

now im looking at it.. the biggest mistake i ever made.. he shocked, completely. destroyed my lack of faith in him. to do it

Depp could easily play the Joker.. but Ledger was The Joker.. thats a diffrent concept..

WE Have No idea. what Jolie can do.. and what she cant do..
my vision for Batman 3 would be Perfect with Depp&Jolie. In it.. and She could Play Catwoman. because she can easily play a Manipulative Femme Fatale Freak.. easily..

but i highly doubt Jolie will be interested in Being cast mates with Depp again for Batman 3 because she allready has a film in Production With Depp anyways right now..

I've said this before...and I'll throw it out there again!

They SHOULD still have the Joker, just not directly on camera. Get someone like James Franco (similar bone-structure in the face), and just show snippets of him in Arkham once in a while.

The story can focus on a whole new direction and just reference him even.

Or, sort of how Scarecrow was in TDK for a second, but no need to zoom in on Joker's face or anything...mention him a few times and maybe show him from the back inciting a riot or something in Arkham, laughing, etc. no direct dialogue.

Then maybe toward the end, introduce Harley Quinn, bust the Joker out...and try an actual direct Joker sequel in a few more years!!!

Well, I haven't seen any of her actual performance, but she looks like she could pull off Harley Quinn. I'd like to see that character come in to continue/avenge Joker's work in TDK.

Thats because thats what she is, it wouldnt be an act. She brings every movie down i see her in cause i cant stand her. I mean really is she a ***** or a humanitarian cause you cant be both. Her life just seems like a big front on one hand she makes out with her brother, breaks up marriges and on the other hand she tries to fix problems in the 3rd world, just doesnt seem to fit.

I think we can find a good actress for the role, it would be like hiring a wrestler to be the lead in the wrestler.

yeah but we want depth to it.. jolie can play depth to Catwoman..
if you ignore this then you obviously have a lack of faith in the unknown possibilities. that can result in the final product of B3.

I Felt the same way about Ledger.. and what did he do?
win a award... for his peformance as Joker..

Sure there are tons of actors that can peform to the full extent. of the charecter..
but you can never really say or tell what they can and cant do..

I wouldnt be one to call quick judgement on Jolie because of her real life..

I'm still predicting if it comes to it, Joseph Gordon Levitt as a potential Joker replacement somewhere down the road. He's working with Nolan on Inception too AND looks similar to Ledger (without the paint).

Ledger as Joker should just be left alone..

Leave it with the Script work, talk about Joker.. but leaving it where it stay.. is the best call for any future batman film

Please no Joker... just don't even try to top Heath Ledger. Retire the Joker and in the next Batman movie have a scene in Arkham where someone walks by a room with the name Joker on the door and you hear Joker laughing. It would be a nice tribute.
