I m really enjoying the beta !! it feels like co4 yet its not haha only complaint is kinda feel heavier then in co4 oh and voice acting is haha kind of annoying

Can't say I mind the WWII era for this game. If I want to use my "modern" weapons I will just pop in COD4. After watching the gameplay on youtube of the beta and this video, I am for sure going to get the latest installment of the COD series.

you gentlemen have no idea how good the game is. I'm playing the beta and the gameplay is outstanding. The weapons and perks are better plus people don't need 50 shots to die anymore.

Wish they had a beta for the PS3

I think a lot of people just jumped on the bandwagon after hearing the news about WWII setting. This game looks outstanding, unlike any other WWII I have ever seen.

I heard Keifer Sutherland did the voice for the Americans faction. Yes that voice acting is annoying and realistic, you can tell it's an acting voice.

It is KS. That's been confirmed and you can tell. I don't mind the voice overs so much.

I've been playing for 6 hours now (logged) on the same 3 maps and I'm still not tired of it

Max level is 44 now. Sucks that that all resets but it is for the best. I'm still only level 22. Man I want Bouncing Betty's.

It seems like they fixed the glitch on Roundhouse. Either that or people just stopped going under the map.

MP40 + Suppressor + Camoflauge = AWESOME

The sniping feel better in this game. It's easier to hit running targets.

Is that true about the reset? I've heard yes and no. I am only 26, but it would be nice to keep what I have.

I don't think they fixed it. I was playing last night and some D-bag was under the map owning. I just stay away from that area.

MP40 is by far the best gun so far. The dual magazines make this gun a winner.

I was a sniper on COD4 90% of the time and I find snipping in this game more difficult. At least with the BA rifles you unlock in the Beta. I like it though because it's more challenging.

I am glad they will reset everything.

The Roundhouse glitch is still there, saw a few using it last night and they sucked too..lol

Need to try the set up you have sounds good.

If you're used to the AWP in CS 1.5 or earlier, you will love the sniping. You can track someone running across Roundhouse. What I do is I climb the catwalk over to the water tower and there is a broken ledge that drops off onto the top of a train car. The whole train car top is black and you can hide easily by lying down there.

It's sickening how much betetr Apeture is compared to the Red Dot.

I won't say I was on the bandwagon, because the bandwagon tended to be the anti-WW2 sort of thing. I just thought of it as a Treyarch taking all of IW's hard work, and re-skinning it into a new game, and wasn't thrilled about that.

I still think the flame throwers are annoying, but otherwise the game definitely seems more interesting to me now than it did earlier. All of the modern (CoD4) and futuristic/non-realistic (Warhawk) fighting kind of makes me want a more realistic old war game to play online (which is where CoD5 might come in).

A definite rental now, and if I still have Gamefly at that point, I can always decide to keep it for a discounted price.
