Nothing special IMO. Could have been a lot better, especially the scenes with the olephaunts. I was hoping that scene was going to shake the house but it didn't.

I think in that same scene where they were hurling humongous rocks was the only time my 20-39 ever bottomed out. Other than that you're right, nothing special compared to other movies with really deep and loud LFE.

Agreed. It's good but not Cloverfield good! Just wait until you watch Cloverfield with your new PBU-13! Oh my....

Besides the well known LFE movie scenes (like Kung Fu Panda), here are some good bass oriented scenes to demo:

Sunshine-some of the outer space scenes
X-Men- When magneto rips the train apart.. or anytime Magneto uses his powers.
This Is It-Any of the higher energy songs.. good test to see how tight your bass is

I am sure I am missing some... will post when brain works again

28 Weeks Later - Explosion at the end.
Aliens vs. Predator 2: Requiem - Whenever the predator ship moves.
Cloverfield - The first strike of the monster and the earthquake, as well as the evacuation are pretty intense with bass.
The Collector - Lightning...enough said. Haha.
Crank - At the end, when you hear his heart beat, it's some LOUD, DEEP, and WALL-SHAKING bass!
District 9 - When the ship takes off at the end.
Drag Me To Hell - The end with the train.
The Final Destination 3D - Whenever music played during the beginning and ending credits, bass in the music is tight, accurate, and deep. Also, the cars in the beginning are pretty awesome with the subwoofer.
Sorority Row - The music has some great bass in it and is very accurate and clean. The fire at the end and when the ground gives out, it's LOUD.
Inglourious Basterds - The theater fighting scene at the end...
The Incredible Hulk - Every fight scene.
My Bloody Valentine 3D - The bullet stopping in slow-motion gives off some magnificent bass.
Resident Evil Trilogy - Each movie is filled with bass rather if it's in the music, huge beasts stepping on the ground, or explosions.
SAW V - The end where the walls are closing in is one of the more intense bass scenes of a horror flick, or the beginning with the pendulum.
The Signal - When the signal is going through on the tv, the bass gets crazy.
Spider-Man 2 - When Doc Oc uses the machine and it sucks everything in at the end.
Spider-Man 3 - When the Sandman gets his power in the machine.
The Strangers - The car crash and the pop-out scenes are very intense with the bass.
Transformers 1 & 2 - Both of them have reference quality bass.
Wanted - The entire movie is filled with bass.
X-Men - The big ending fight is insane.

Those are what comes to mind.

I have to agree with you Kali, I always use This is It as a good demo disk for music and bass.

Default Transporter 3

Transporter 3
The begining where the frieghter is moving across the screen and in the cargo hold.
The car wrecking into the house and ambulance explosion
A lot of mid-bass during fight scene with grand piano.
There is also a hip hop track when they roll the credits.
Sorry I don't have the time stamps

I couldn't agree more. Not the kind of movie you would expect to sound like that, but the LFE was great. Interesting movie too.

As long as it's a "fun" or "entertaining" film with some decent action, I'm good (just ordered it as my "free" movie from DirecTV). Though I'm sure the Bluray would have better Audio obviously.
