Gotta tell you, that scene is freaking hilarious. Bradley Cooper rocks as Rocket Raccoon.
As much as I never liked the Cockney/Aussie accent they gave him before....

It's gonna take a while to get used to not hearing it. But I do so love his voice in this.

It's the right amount of cocky. He's very Han Soloish. Which fits as Groot is very Chewbaccaish.

No likeable characters, not funny, generic action. I'll probably pass. Bet it will be a hit with the critics though, this is how they like their hero films.

Didn't your mother ever tell you that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all??
Maybe you can write that in the "Superman vs Batman" thread?

Loved the new trailer! But I really loved the use of "Hooked on a Feeling" in the first trailer

Okay, never mind seeing TWS seven times over opening weekend is like spending your entire day at the cinema, WTF, do you get some kind of special discount on tickets?! That's gotta be like hundreds of dollars per month!

I think a lot of people had the same reaction when Robert Downey Junior was cast as Tony Stark. But, I love that line from the new trailer, 'I have a short lifespan anyway'. The cockiness of Rocket is just fitting. While it'll take some getting used to, I'm absolutely loving the oldies soundtrack. I was shocked to find out that they've now added 'Spirit in the Sky', the version from Doctor and the Medics. I've always loved that song.

Gotta hand it to James Gunn, these golden oldies rock classics are absolutely brilliant for this movie. While it wouldn't have worked for Marvel's other films, it's just brilliant that he's chosen the rights songs for this film. It so works.

Loved the new trailer. The songs they've used so far fit perfectly imo.

Same! I never heard of them until recently but the ads do make me want to check the comics out if I had time. Still, looks like a fun ride of a film.

Marvel Singapore Facebook page has gone as far as leave this... "poster" which all but confirms Thanos' presence in this movie.

I know it's not breaking news, but it's nice to see an official source shedding more light on him.

I wouldn't consider Marvel Singapore an official source. Didn't they once leak information about a Marvel film before which ended up being lambasted by Marvel Studios?

Awesome trailer. Just not diggin' the comedic tone of the trailer but that is fine since the group is more laid back than most.

Star-Lord's costume looks kick ass compared to the comic.

I'll tell you right now.... ppl who got no clue on GotG will fall in love with Rocket once they see this movie. Rocket is the shit.

I'm already in love with Rocket.
The idea alone got me interested, and though I've only read his intro 4 parter (tales from half-world), I'm gagging for more

Read the Marvel Now! run (16 issues so far). Enjoyable, fun, and it'll get you on the right foot.

I would actually recommend the DnA Series instead for people who want more....

As the Director even told Bradley Cooper who voices Rocket if he was going to read any of it to keep himself to that. Likely because Rocket especially is much different under Bendis than DnA.

Yes, but the director has stated Thanos would be in the film. How much? We do not know.
