I saw Avengers 17 times, so some people may have super-fandom issues.

Why? If you're that much of a fan that you'd want to see it every day (I wouldn't even want to see a Beatles concert every day) and the film plays for three weeks, that's $4.76 per showing. If it plays for four weeks, that's $3.57 per ticket.

About the least expensive ticket you can find now in NYC is $14.

They don't expect this to be successful. That's why it's limited to 1000. A thousand across the U.S. is nothing. Regal has 588 locations - that's fewer than 2 per location on average. But it's a good gimmick that will get them publicity. I can see local news stations interviewing the idiots who want to see the film every day.

The only way I can sleep at night is by choosing to believe this is a gimmick account and not a person with genuinely held beliefs.

That, and people are forgetting theater hoppers. Lots of people would be getting tickets for SPECTRE and seeing something else.

Sorry i worded that very poorly. I realise Skyfall has a lot of CG enhancements (and a lot of them stand out and look pretty weak) i meant that it doesn't have heavy CG sequences like no CG characters, no fully CG environments for action scenes. It's not The Avengers i basically what i'm saying. I literally cannot fathom how a movie like Spectre can cost more than Avengers Age of Ultron (granted i haven't seen Spectre but i am not expecting any major CG sequences in it).

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda considering that. The card looks sweet, and it's personalized/limited to only 1,000. Plus I saw Casino Royale once, Quantum twice, and Skyfall three times theatrically, so if the trend continues, it's a decent investment

That card would have been awesome for AMC with Avengers. Make it happen with GOTG 2 AMC!

Lol.....Regal did this for Interstellar. Also, I'm sure if the same deal was offered for The Force Awakens no one would be complainging about it then

Very true.

"$100+ for multiple viewings of Star Wars? What a freaking deal!"

Though admittedly, SW collectibles are always more valuable, and chances are, I would easily go back to see Episode VII over and over again, especially during it's IMAX run, more than I would for a 007 movie, no matter how damn good it may be.

Wow, that movie was good the first time, but I like it less with every watch. Even started getting a bit boring on the second watch for me. To each his own, I guess.

The only thing really making me pause is the $100 price. If it was just a normal plastic card with my name on it but cost $50-$75, I'd probably already have bought it.

Without getting into personal stuff, RDJ is one of the few reasons I've made it through the last couple years. That was a better year and everything was pretty awesome to me during that time. It doesn't have a hype factor at home, it's totally a theater going movie.

I'd imagine been part of a Bond movie a First Class experience all the way and they have a massive crew which moves around the World several times during production and it's a massive production. Real costs a lot more than CGI.

It's always amusing when you hear stories of Cleopatra, which at one point in time was the only film FOX was making, there's the old joke that executives where paying for geishas in Japan and putting it on Cleopatra's expense account (and budget).

But why? Their reasoning makes no sense to me. Hopefully someone smarter than me can explain.
