Wait, Charles Dance isn't in this movie, even after the post-credits scene in KotM?

Yes and he’s definitely not in it according to Charles Dance himself.

Starting to think Ziyi Zhang isn’t either which would be a shame since she was a good character to connect to the previous film based on her position with Monarch.

The footage from the trailer was awesome, and I do agree the music could have been better. I hope the movie is 147 minutes and not 1 hour and 47 minutes, especially when you consider there must be about 10 minutes of credits alone due to all the CGI.

There is another aspect I haven’t seen or heard mentioned yet, that makes me excited for this movie after seeing the trailer. We know we’re going to be able to see it on March 26 and don’t have to worry about delays. I want to say it again, thank you WB for releasing these movies during 2021 in theaters and on HBO Max simultaneously.

The two little spots where M********** show up in the trailer were likely not supposed to reveal that and should still be treated as a spoiler.
Besides, if it wasn't for the toy leak we wouldn't know for sure what that metal thing was. A lot of people keep saying Mecha-King Ghidorah would be in the movie due to the post credit scene in KOTM. This is another case of "It's Rodan!" from the 2014 trailer.

Don’t you think they are setting up for a lot of people to be pissed off if it turns out that Kong is never actually fighting Godzilla the entire time? I still feel like Mecha-Godzilla will be the one destroying cities and attacking people while the real Godzilla is fighting Kong (for misunderstood reasons).

Maybe? After the very mixed critical response to KOTM outside of just insular online kaiju movie circles, I don't know what people quite expect or want from these films anymore. XD

I feel like there's a pretty big spoiler in the trailer as to what's going on and

[Show spoiler]is when they show the Asian dude and the picture of Godzilla behind him. Also in the first attack, you see this metallic red lighting thing briefly which makes it seem like that's Mecha Godzilla and attacking the City but they show it having a "battery" behind the Asian dude on the screen in one of the shots that says "APEX"

That's my small theory for the movies set up against them fighting and why they're trying to bring Kong to help them.
