Odd you bring this up, and frustrating af. I dunno if I just didn't watch this when I bought this last year, I'm almost certain I did but I'm trying to watch now and the whole beginning before the credits is completely messed up for me. It's pausing and glitching out, no audio etc. I took the disc out and looked at it and it seems fine, no scratches or marks at all, and put back in and same exact thing. Certainly too late for me to reach out for a replacement I suppose, damnit.

Dang, really sorry to hear that. The quality control of 4K discs seems to be really bad compared to DVD and blu-ray. Those discs always worked for me out of the case, whereas I’ve had at least 3-5 4k discs not work properly on day 1.

Sorry if this was mentioned earlier. I don't see anything about it on the International 4K thread. Halloween II mediabook in Germany by NSM. Does anybody have this release and anyone know if the boobie glitch that was on the SF release been fixed or is the transfer a direct port of the SF release??

The booby glich is fixed on that release and its overall a slightly different looking transfer.

Next question then is are they going to release a non-mediabook edition? Those mediabooks are so expensive to import. They're already sold out anyways at least on Amazon.de, so they're already at scalper prices.

What's different about the transfer? Grain, color? I'm assuming better compression for starters.

The HDR10 layer has a glitch for a few frames when she takes her towel off. It's not there in the DV layer.

I just got my first Dolby Vision capable player last week and this was the second disc I tried. Dolby Vision is definitely worth upgrading for if anyone is only HDR10 still!
