That seems a little low to me. They should have gave it a 4/5 seeing as the other sites and critics seem to love it.

My expectation have been quite low since this went into production but I think the hype is slowly growing on me now. I think I might end up seeing this opening night.

To be honest I didn't have high hopes until I heard that Kenneth Branagh was directing it. I guess I should have known it would be good as the can't afford to screw it up, because of The Avengers movie.

Well in all fairness, IGN are pretty crap at reviews. Rarely do they ever get above 3.5.

I didn't really read thru it much "just in case" there is/were some spoilers (& I'm SURE there are!), but he def. loved "THOR"

That's the problem with a 5 based rating.
a 7/10 looks a lot better, as it's only 3 points away from sheer perfection.
Given that 10/10 is practically a "can never get it unless the universe is in perfect sync" grade, 7/9 is really pretty good imo

Good. I figured this would be a good film for a number of reasons. Regardless, I cannot wait to see this when it's released.
