I'm looking forward to this one, and hope they get it right. I love the character. That scenario is true to the comics.

I hope that they can at least somewhat ground t in reality so that it fits with what has been done with Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk.

I too am excited for this movie (especially with the promise of the avengers the following year )

The outline that Marvel has plan for the movie is exactly like the comics. There is no way Marvel can pull the movie off without Thor alter ego...as for Kenneth Branagh as the director for this...good choice as for playing Thor...bad choice.

Branagh is not list as playing Thor as of yet. He may play only Donald Blake. I would like to see Kevin McKidd

Thor is something that is very difficult to translate to real life from comics, because it will either come off as really cheesy, possibly even flamboyant. They need to be careful here how this gets pulled off.

I look forward to the film. I used to read the comics when I was a teen.

Interesting news but I doubt Branagh will play Thor, he seems kinda old and not really built.

I like Thor (and am reading his current title which is very good), and am interested who all will be starring in this. He is somewhat of a tricky character to put on film, but hopefully Marvel will get it right.

Branagh won't play Thor and most likely won't play Blake. Probably a smaller role like what Favreau did in Iron Man.

This movie has a shot at being cool, but it has a better shot at being total crap. I hope that it comes out cool. I enjoy hero movies.

From people that read the original script, it was "off-the-charts awesome", but it would require three or four times the allotted budget. From the link, it looks like they just re-worked the last bit of the script. I have high hopes for all Marvel's movies (even Ant-Man )

I love Kenneth Brannagh but is he not a little too old now for this type of role?
