It does work. You're just not guaranteed a Warsat when the public event happens.

So the flavor text on Sleeper Simulant reads:

Subroutine IKELOS: Status=complete
MIDNIGHT EXIGENT: Status=still in progress

We already completed the IKELOS part of the gun with a quest. It seems like this "midnight exigent" part of the gun (new quest?) hasn't yet been activated. Might Bungie have another path for us to take to make this weapon even better and more powerful than what it is right now?

Just got the Devouring Maw helmet after completing the S.A.B.E.R. strike. Doesn't seem super special, but nice to have knowing it's a strike exclusive.

My favorite piece of armor on my warlock. Mine dropped with bonus super from heavy weapon kills and orbs replenish health

Ray,

You down to do the arc sword strike tonight? I ended up not being on last night. If we can find a third to help I'm down to knock it out this evening.

I caved!

Was doing so well with Mad Max but finished that off. Got through ESO main storyline. Left with a certain big release that came out on 9/1 that right now I absolutely hate playing. Such a un fun experience.

So back to Destiny.

Sure. I am raiding at 8 so we need to knock it out before then. I ran it with randoms last night and it was pretty rough.

Ric and Josh just pulled me in at the very end of their sword strike. I will still help you run it again for yours but if you're raiding in 30 minutes I doubt we can finish that quickly.

there's also talk about it causing massive damage in certain bosses by ricochet in around inside of them. Haven't seen this confirmed through testing yet though.
