You may want to temper your expectations: the original mix is quite front-heavy with the occasional surround effect, similar to the mixes for the Back to the Future films. Disney's 7.1 remixes just spread the existing soundfield a bit like the 5.1 DVD remix did using the original 70MM 4.2 soundtrack as reference.

For Zemeckis fans I'd say Contact was the first film of his to go all-out with aggressive surround sound.

I'm okay with the cover, it looks nice. I just feel like the picture is scaled a little too small, I would have preferred to see it a little bigger with that nice red color as a boarder around it. Nonetheless, I still approve and can't wait to own this film. One of my top ten favorite films of all time!
