I'll just leave this right here for the fans of the show. You know you want them.

Haha, yup. I've actually seen it in person at a local comic store - the box is VERY heavy. Like, I almost dropped it when I tried to pick it up. It's real, thick, aged fabric and the markers are like stone - that picture makes it look pretty cheap but it's really not.

It's cool, but not $200 cool, especially since it's not like I have an extra table to lay it out on for permanent display, and wall-space is at a premium, as well, so no hanging. I do have a framed map of Westeros print already, though - helps me follow along, LOL.

I have the Pop-Up Book (which is cool - the entire book folds out to a map of Westeros), and I have collected all the action figures so far (both the DH ones and the Funko ones). Besides that, all I've dipped into are some of the PoP Vinyls - I thought they were stupid at first but they have so grown on me. I got Cersei and then I was in love haha. I'm just getting a few of those, though. Don't need an army. (I keep telling myself!)

What I *REALLY* want, though - did you see at the HBO site that you can actually BUY a throne? A real cast replica, made to order? It's only $30,000...haha, if only I were an income bracket or ten higher. Shipping is like a grand itself. But, it's a nice dream - love to have that, Han in Carbonite, and the life sized 3PO/R2D2, Salacious Crumb, and Yoda's and I'd be all set for the rest of my life (and probably 75 grand lighter for it, LOL).

If I had the money I could love to get the map marker set. That is cool that you got to see it in person. Figured I'd post this in case someone wants it.
Since we have to wait ill June for our fix.

Is anyone else pissed that HBO decided to skip tonight? I don't want to have to wait until next week to see episode 8

That. Just. Frakking. Sucks. Monkey. Ballz!!!!!!

I'll have more to say later (some great moments tonight) but man...seriously???!!!!! First time I have been truly disappointed in the outcome of something. Not disappointed in the show, it is what it is - I know not to hold any expectations - but man, so disappointed because I liked him so very much.

As much as I can't stand the woman that writes them (she whines too much about feminist crap) I'll be curious for the Wired recap tomorrow to see what the differences here between the book/show are.

If he wasn't all "say her name, say her name" he wouldn't be dead now. What an idiot, he should have just finished the guy. What a moron...

The Mountain does not gouge out Oberyn's eyes in the book. He caves in his skull with a punch. So, the producers killed him that way.

If I remember correctly, he does stick his thumb into one of Oberyn's eyes before crushing his skull with the punch.

Either way.....yuck.

Oh man that Mountain/Viper fight was so good. I'm going to have to look for some reaction videos to see if they reacted like I felt when I read it.

Ya for me this hit me harder then the Red Wedding. When I was reading it I was seriously talking to my book (don't worry no book spoilers from me), no no just kill him just kill him...noooo!!! You had to like Oberon so not only was it his life in the balance it was Tyrion and the thought of losing two great characters in one fight was hard to take. They filmed it even more brutal then I imagined it.

DAMN!! What a fight! Still, I'm pissed if this really does mean that Tyrion will be executed! He's the best character in the whole damn series! I hope against hope that SOMETHING happens to allow him to live but it's not looking good for ole Tyrion.
