I've place about 10 orders with them, and never had a problem with them, orders taking about a week to arrive, and no damaged cases. also as other people have mentioned, posted from UK, so no customs problems, and no Amazon customs type charges.

They tend to charge at the price when you ordered it.... Sometimes it pays to hold off pre ordering as I've seen the price come down on items but they still charge you the price when you pre ordered.......
I've just seen the Star Trek UHD movies come down to 21.50 so I am gonna jump on this!

Where do they source their discs? Are they all US versions?

As for the LPs? US? UK?

Yes the majority of their catalogue are US releases as they are a US company.

I noticed that a couple of days ago and did consider re-ordering at the current price but I assumed that like Amazon, they would charge at the lower price.
I won't make the same mistake twice

So, there's no way to know which are not US sets?

I'm fine if they are all US.

UK discs are £8 each from Zoom, it's not Universal at fault it's Amazon and their stupidly higher initial prices.

You can check the UPC numbers on Amazon, that should narrow it down for you.

Just so they can turn around and say "Look at how much you saved thanks to our pre-order price guarantee..."

I've not done much research on these. Are we sure Jaws 3 is in proper 3d and not the awful version? The lack of the Bluray 3D logo on the case is worrying

Yes it's proper 3D and not red/green glasses type but it's pretty rough quality going by the review and screenshots posted last week.

I noticed a couple of times that it says (Import) next to the item's name if it is, lets say, an australian blu-ray, or an italian lp. So i assume, everything else is US. ;-)

Chisum & McQ arrived this morning, 4 days after their USA release date.Happy with that even though it's a far cry from the 2-3 week early heyday of Movietyme/DVDWorldUSA. In a way their demise has done me a favour because i'm learning to be patient and saving loads in the process. a couple of years ago i'd have been paying double for these releases just to get them early.

Wonder how much they will actually refund though considering they have now put the prices up to £7.98 each.
