I rarely have time to watch discs the day they arrive at my door: for this one, I'll make an exception. I'm glad I held off on the 4K remastered Blu version.

LOL, yea maybe clean isn't the best word.
I remember seeing it in the theater and mentioning how great it looked.
It felt more bright and vibrant than your average movie. Really strong production.

I watched this yesterday (I'd be watching Leon now, except the power is out in my neighborhood) and overall the presentation is fantastic. Lots of detail is there, most shots are very crisp, but there are a few minor downsides. The grain is very apparent in areas of large color blocks, so the cat on the bed when Corbin leaves his apartment looks a bit shimmery for example. The post-processing for HDR looks worse than modern HDR since you're working with lots of VFX that are already final, not that you can go back and work with more later. And some of the VFX look lower quality now, since they're 20 years old. It's good they used lots of costumes and real effects instead of CGI here, since those look great here.

The soundtrack is fantastic, good use of the Atmos channels, and overall a really superb mix. The disc is a solid 4.5 or 5/5 for video IMO, since there isn't much they could do to improve it. One shot near the very end (where they've just saved the world, and Chris Tucker complains and then leaves) looks a bit dark compared so what I remember for the Blu-ray, but really I'm being very nit-picky here. The disc is great, much better looking than the Unforgiven disc from the same decade that isn't nearly as good IMO.
