It's the most balanced sounding bass I've ever heard. Most basses have certain notes/frequencies that stand out more than others, but this one is nice and even anywhere on the fretboard.

Yes, I've got the UK version. I never saw the first crappy one to compare it to, but it looked surprisingly good to me. There were a few scenes that looked a bit teal, mainly when Kyle Reese first transported at the beginning and was running through the foggy alleyways. Overall it wasn't very noticeable to me, and I'm really bothered by the change in FotR. The audio was surprisingly good also, with lots of directionality to the surrounds and some impressive LFE, especially during the future war scenes.
