I had a guy come and do that. Sucks there's no chat. He finally figured it out and things went on.

There is chat. Just invite them to your fire team. That's what i been doing when i play solo i msg ppl asking if they want to b part of the fire team or u can make yours public if you want which i have not tried yet.

Ok, not sure what happened over at the cave. It might have something to do with whatever this 24 and 25 were doing up top, but all of a sudden TONS of mobs started running out of the cave (wizards/etc).

I went from 17 to 17.5 in maybe 4-5 minutes. It was crazy as heck.

Downside is someone decided to start griefing so I left the planet. If I log in/out do I get another game instance with possibly different people in that area?

That happens about every 30-45mins. If you notice there are two groups fighting each other in the Skywatch area. Both factions will launch an attack on each other with swarms of enemies coming from everywhere to attack each other. It's an excellent time to get some easy Engrams

Yeah I was farming in that area a bit ago, got leveled up from 18-19 pretty easily. No legendary stuff, but still good stuff none the less.

All hell broke loose though at the end with both sides fighting each other. Pretty intense and lots of fun.

Also whoever invited me into their strike mission, sorry I didn't have my mic plugged in, but we were able to get the job done.

Ah ok. I knew they were fighting each other but figured it was just the usual stuff. That was fun as heck. Wish there was more of that in the game. It was crazy.

It's right at the start of Old Russia. turn to your right and head behind you. There's stairs leading to a building to the right of it.

The spawn location of those random chests seems to be different to the Beta, as if they've added more spawn points. Another one spawns right by that one in the pic but on the pipe on the opposite walls pipe.

Wouldn't bother with the Raid unless you get a party of six, mostly level 26 or higher. Partied up with a group of six, level 24s and 25s and could not get past the first section. Not even close.

On the bright side, I got an Exotic fusion rifle as a reward for a random strike.

Another location

1. Begin the Moon story mission "The Dark Beyond." Change the difficulty to be a few levels below where you're currently at, so it's not too easy.
2. Play through the mission up through the cutscene where your character finds the dead guardian outside the big moon door.
3. When the fallen come rushing out of the door, shoot all of the thralls that charge you, but ignore the knights and acolytes. Stay at the bottom of the stairs, and let the knights and acolytes kill you. You'll respawn immediately before the door opened, but whatever loot the thralls dropped will remain.
4. Repeat over and over again, and watch the loot pile up.

Hard to imagine a more powerful fusion rifle. The Legendary one is amazing in main game and MP. Whats the attack stat on it? The Legendary one I got is 300.

Yeah, I had that happen to. I thought maybe it was because I used the Skywatch mission to get there but maybe not. I thought maybe I had somehow lured them there but maybe it was the level 24 & 25 guys because they were there when it happened to me as well.

I've also had some guys screwing me up on purpose. I had it going pretty well by myself but then some guys started throwing grenades at me, standing too close to cave, etc. so I just left the cave area and would kill the enemies that came out elsewhere. I found that killing the ones that come out of the cave still seem to drop more than most other places so I still got some stuff. It just wasn't all bunched up nicely in the cave.

I must be doing something wrong with Mavrick's tip.

I go to moon mission and get to cutscene. The door opens and I sit there killing like 30 mobs. I let the last couple kill me. I then restart to door opening and do it again.

Is there anything else? I did about 6 waves like this and got 1 green drop.

EDIT: BTW, set it to hard to do this.

AND EDIT AGAIN: So I think I'm doing it right, just crappy luck with drops. I'm going to drop difficulty to easy to make this cycle faster to see what happens. Either way, it's a good method for killing 30-40 mobs over and over.

Also, when you guys are doing these farming tactics, use the right consumable to profit more.

Consume Black Wax Idol when killing Hive, consume Blue Polyphage when killing Vex, and consume Ether Seeds when killing Fallen. You'll get more glimmer and maybe more loot.
