Well I guess those two are safe, but Fingers ain’t happening for a long while if ever. Same thing with Love and Money also WB, and Exposed too as those titles were also directed by him as well.

I completely agree I watched it in February, and it is such an underrated movie same with Racing With The Moon both fantastic unappreciated underrated films. Excited to watch Cutters Way, and Baby It’s You this month for the first time ever , and I’ve already pre-ordered Falling In Love, and Breaking Glass this year, and will be getting The Fabulous Stains as well. This is one of my new favorite labels I only recently got into this year, and I wish I had started getting into Fun City Editions titles much sooner.

I still have that "Time And Tide" song stuck in my head from watching it a few weeks ago.

I watched it twice this morning, once with the commentary.

I just finished Baby it's You. A crazy well-made coming of age odyssey. Seemless.

Personally, I love the movie Jeremy. It captures a time long gone, with the awkwardness of youth budding into adulthood. Awkwardness. Limitations. Self-awareness. Insecurities. And that feeling of one's first love.

Robbie Benson and Glynnis O'Connor capture all of this and more in an unconventional coming-of-age story from the early 1970s. The backdrops and the culture combined with the cityscape photography and 1970's interior backdrops make it worth owning since neither even remotely resemble anything in today's world.

I highly recommend this one, and it's one that I've rewatched several times, and I soak up all the details every time as if I've never seen it before. I think this is one you'll definitely be happy to have in your collection.

Well Zeppo now I'm really interested I love coming of age films so much Little Darlings, Baby It's You which I just finished, Can't Buy Me Love which needs a Blu-Ray, and a number of others.

Other ones I love
Racing With the Moon this ones pretty emotional
Rumble Fish
The Outsiders
Some Kind of Wonderful
Cooley High that ending is so dang sad
Above the Rim
Juice
Boyz In The Hood
Tokyo Story
Ikiru
Crooklyn
Mo Better Blues
School Daze
Birdy Nicolas Cage and Matthew Modine
Stand By Me

There's obviously more, but a lot of these films are freaking great classics, or underrated hidden gems.

Then I assure you even further that you will enjoy Jeremy. Can't Buy Me Love is another that holds a place near and dear to my heart along with Little Darlings and Baby It's You and Dogfight and even Grease 2 along with a number of others as well.

I'm sure you've watched the extras by now, but if not, the dual interview with Benson and O'Connor is one of the best I've ever watched. FCE has done some terrific interviews; I recall the one with the director for Natural Enemies was also terrific.

Speaking of Baby It's You I love hearing the cast interviews of the film that Fun City did. They also look back at doing this film quite fondly including an interview with John Sayles himself. So these special features are great including new interviews with Griffin Dunne, and Amy Robinson whom were producers on the film.

Fun City Editions went all out on the special features for this film, and the transfer is great.

I could not agree more! The dual interview was almost like a carryover of the film itself, and it was easy to spot the chemistry between Benson and O'Connor. From the easy innocent moments to those not-so-innocent moments, it was uncanny to see them both in and out of character. I think that was honestly one of the factors that made me appreciate this touching, yet left of center, film even more. It was an amazing coupling of two amazing actors that brought this movie to life for me.

Default Baby It's You

Another winner from FCE....

Watched my copy last night and while this is only April in a year already jam-packed with stellar catalogue releases, I'd be surprised if this doesn't end up as my pick for disc of the year. For anyone who's a fan of Baby It's You this edition is a dream come true. From the original poster art to the gorgeously art-designed booklet to the lovely new transfer to the incredible bounty of extras with ALL (!) the principal cast and crew, this disc is a grand slam all the way.

(Also gotta give a shout-out to FCE's uncanny selection of menu clips that run on a loop while you navigate the options. Such a great way to pull you into the world of the movie as opposed to the usual trailer-like montage of most motion menus. The dialogue-free Baby It's You clip is so sweet.)

Honestly, I would've been satisfied with just the barebones Olive edition as this is one of those titles we're lucky to have on Blu-ray, period, but this new FCE release takes things to a whole other level. The care and attention to every detail is pure class. I dig the Japanese poster on the reverse sleeve and the disc itself made to look like a 45 rpm record. To anyone who's even remotely a fan of this movie I can't recommend it enough. For the price point it's an absolute steal.

FCE is absolutely killing it these days. Thank you again, FCE!

Falling In Love is now shipping from FCE. My order is with Diabolik (cheaper, hopefully faster, postage) so I hope that's not too far behind.

I'm another satisfied customer for Baby It's You. I appreciate the special features very much, and all the work it must have taken to obtain them.

Thank you Fun City!

I wonder if Fun City would be interested in releasing TILT. It's got Brooke Shields & Charles Durning with a pinball centric theme. To me it would fit right into their release catalog:

80s Made introduced me to this film as I had never heard of it before it sounds like fun. If Fun City does a WB deal then this sounds exactly like the kind of title they would put out. I would definitely buy a Blu-Ray of this day one no question.
