I'm considering getting the 2TB one for my PS4 Pro. I've read some people (user reviews) have had their's fail after roughly a year, but overall it's gotten really good reviews as pretty much the go to upgrade hard drive for the PS4/PS4 Pro.

To notice a nice speed difference with games, a game has to be loaded on it roughly 5 times to get the full effect. I'm guessing you still get the same speeds regardless of whether you are playing it on disc or digital download.

I haven't had my PS4 updated or hooked up since we had moved need to get a stand for my 4K TV to have it setup in the basement since that's where the FIOS hookup is for TV wanted it in my room but FIOS tech had to drill through the two closets/wall to get it thru so i will just have down in the basement instead since it's already to go down there and the computer will most likely go there too my movie collection is going to be setup on shelves along the walls too whenever that end's up happening not sure though.

lol I've never had a system crash so much just navigating menus. Store also crashes too. System stability my ass. That's just their code for "Hackers found their way into our buggy system again. Typically they do it to improve the system quality and give you features that we are too stupid/douchey to provide. Can't have hackers doing better at our jobs than us. Here's another pointless update!"

I’m not doubting you or anyone complaining about crashes. Crash how? Like restarting the game/app?
I’ve had no issues other than a little sluggishness when just booting up. I’m running a PS4 Pro w/ stock 1TB HDD. And I feel like I’ve played it just about every day since RDR2 came out for 3 hours a night from Disc. Aside from an instance of a game crashing (1 of the Lego games) once, I don’t recall a crash in months. Being in FL, I lose power daily and it flickers like a strobe so it’s hell on the console.

While my PS4 was idle with no apps on, the System did a full shutdown.
I got an error code & report problem prompt after I pressed the power button to turn it back on.

On the store front, it is odd that I have a wishlist in the app which doesn't show on the console store! But for a while now I've been unable to buy anything through the app, I get bounced around by Sony logins which result in me never being able to actually buy anything! I have to use the console store.

Tried to post this yesterday and lost it due to a stupid error, so here's what it is.

New Party Chat beta test to sign up to, with increased party size to 16 from 8 people. Better VOIP quality and anybody that signs up to this will not be able to use regular party chat. The upside is fhat anybody who signs up when it's live will be given 20 codes to share with friends and hopefully cover you all thag regularly play.
