Ordered the limited edition...hopefully I get one of the numbered ones...well worth the price to have both versions of the film!

I ordered as well - better than wishing I had somewhere down the road!

Wow. I've never seen this film (it's on my to do list) but this is an amazing release.

I do have to wonder though if WB will ever release the theatrical cut on Blu-Ray themselves (probably not).

Yes, it would be nice. But the answer I got was a resounding no.

Does Scream Factory charge for pre-orders when you order them or when they ship?

$80 is kind of high for one movie, but I want both version and that's what credit card where made for so you can pay it off later.

If you pay by credit card, they charge you when the order ships. If you use Paypal, you will be charged immediately.

Just pre-ordered the Limited Edition. Not a fan of that price at all, but it appears to be the only way to get the theatrical cut as well as all those extra bonus features. So I took the plunge. It's been a slow few weeks for releases I wanted anyway.

I think it'd be worth waiting to see what's on the third disc first first of all. $80 is a lot for an additional disc that you may only watch once.

What I got from the official statement was that the first 1,000 copies out of the 5,000 would be available on the SHOUT! website, they will be numbered and those copies will probably include the poster. The other 4,000 copies will probably be available at all of the other retailers.

At least that is how I am reading it.

Would love to have the version with the theatrical version on Bluray but will probably just get the Bluray/DVD combo if it is sold through places like Wal-Mart or Amazon.com.

Well there goes my budget for pretty much everything else until the end of the year. If this wasn't one of my favorite movies I'd have gone with the regular edition.

I'm absolutely amazed they found the trims and cuts on film. I can hardly believe it after all these years.
