You know, I'm so befuddled over this right now I hadn't put that together yet, haha.

Add that to another of Tyrion's list of prophetic/foreshadowing scenes.

That's one thing that makes the show so very rewatchable to me - it's quite amazing how he "predicts" so many major events in just off-handed comments from the very beginning. Sometimes it's so glaringly obvious I can't believe I didn't pick up on them the first time around.

I felt physically ill after watching this episode for a bit, man. UGHHHHHHHHH! I honestly felt more shocked about this ending than The Red Wedding.

I also believe that they chose Indira Varma from Luther for this part BECAUSE of Luther. She's a great screamer, on top of a great actress, and MAN did her reaction sell the horror.

Peter Dinklage's performance in this episode was every bit as good as in the trial episode. Man, that guy is a great actor.

It all becomes sadly obvious after the fact. I mean, we've heard so much stuff about The Mountain being this huge, dangerous guy. He had to do SOMETHING to live up to his legacy lol. Damn, I really thought Oberyn had it lol. Why didn't he go for his face with that last stab??!!

Yeah, I am wondering the same. This upset me more than the Red Wedding.

I even wondered, during the holiday layover between episodes, what would the rules be for both men dying from the combat...

So, even with that thought in the back of my head, and the telegraphing of the big moment, it still caught me off-guard.

It's not hyperbole when I say that I really wonder if the show is more torture than reward at times.
