I agree he doesn't deserve to go home before Tim and Andrew - but I don't think he has a chance to be the winner. I think he has peaked, for me anyway. In the end, doesn't really matter to me - I just wish Tim would go away.

My top 5 are still Lee, Crystal, Siobhan, Mike, & Casey. Also man I kinda felt like your wife lastnight haha. I was on edge and about to get upset if he didnt get saved. I knew he would though as he is a great singer! I think why he didnt get so many votes was because of how much he changed the song. The Beatles are the most popular group of all time and some probably felt disrespected. Oh well we will see what happens next week. Got Em!!

As for the wife, trust me I told my girl while we were watching that if Mike didnt get saved I wasnt gonna watch it anymore. I did the samething during the season in which Underwood won. They voted off some wrong people and I got mad! Hahaha! Got Em!!

No - I don't think Crystal has peaked - not quite anyway. Her cover of Come Together was better (for me) than the last coupleo of weeks. At first, it was the same cool acoustic, Janis Joplin vibe - but she really sold it at the end and took it to a new level. Lot's of fun.

I also really liked Casey's version of Jealous Guy - and I agree with some of the judges that I don't think we've seen him hit it out of the park yet (although I think he can).

For Mike - I think he already hit the ball as far as he could - he did an awesome job - but, for me, we've seen it all. There are no surprises coming.

Siobahn Across the Universe could have been better - I was waiting for it to become really cool - but it never opened up. But with her, I still think there a surpises on the horizon.

Lee is good - but he's actually getting a bit boring for me.

I know a lot of people seem to be saying this season isn't that great - but I personally could see my self being interested in the albums of these guys then a lot of other idol winners.

Oh I agree. I think this is a very good season and I would for sure listen to albums from a few of these artist! For Siobhan I believe she listened to the judges to much and she restrained herself in that last performance. I enjoy her letting loose being herself and those huge high notes are simply amazing to me. Why not do them as no one else in the competition can hit them. thats her advantage. Got Em!!

I don't know - I look forward to hearing some of these guys - to me, that's a good season.

I didn't watch the last season, and I've missed a season here or there when I was deployed - or overseas - but I genuinely like some of these performers this year - so, I'm good.

So I was listening to Lee's performance of Lips of an Angel on youtube and thought of something.

When they get to the last couple weeks where the contestants sing 2 or 3 songs each, they should have one week where you have to pick one of the songs you did earlier in the competition and redo it.

I don't know if they do that already or not (do you guys?), but I think it would be a good idea, to show how far they have come since early in the competition.





Edit: This guy on youtube puts up all the full songs by the contestants from this season (as well as last season) since they started recording the full thing (since the Top 10 I believe).

Elvis theme......again.

Crystal - Not bad...kinda usual. As good as she is...she needs to change it up otherwise she'll get dull.

Andrew - Terrible.....will definitely be in the bottom 3.

Tim - A bit pitchy when he changed octave...but pretty damn good overall.

Lee - Awesome!

Aaron - Too much of an Elvis impersonation....didn't do anything to make it his own.

Siobhan - Awesome X 2!!!

Mike - Also awesome....this is getting tough.

Katie - The song seemed a bit too big for her. She just didn't put enough into it. Kinda karaoke-ish.

Casey - Pretty damn good.

Siobhan - ....I actually liked it (for the first time)! Didn't love it, but it was good.

Mike - I loved it, back from 'good but not great' finally

My take on the performances:

Crystal - Very good as usual and will advance next week with no problem.

Andrew - Horrific! He is finished!

Tim - Man look at Tim makin a comeback and now earning his spots.

Lee - Fascinating. His voice is just super tight!

Aaron - Aaron is slipping bad after bein steady every week up until last week and tonight.

Siobhan -

Awesome X 2!!!

Couldnt agree more! Like I said her range is limitless.

Mike - Very well done performance and still upset about him being the bottom guy last week.

Katie - Super kareoke and if it was kareoke it wouldve been great but to bad its not kareoke. She may be in trouble yet again.

Casey - Very good as usual. Not his best but still very good.

But with Big Mike there last week, all bets are off now of who "can't" be in the bottom three.
