Just started watching Fight Club, and the scene where he imagines the airplane crash @ 21:40 is amazing! It only lasts for about 10 seconds, but WOW! This is my first time watching it since I got my 2nd sub and it really surprised me!

Chapter 25 - the scene where the girl taps on the fish tank scared the Sh!t outta me!! I wasn't expecting that at all. The whole movie sounded good - cant wait for this one to come out on Blu too..

I am with you on these two titles. I also can't wait for the Blus of these titles. What I love about Pixar bass, is it is not only deep and hard hitting, it tends to be tight as well and not sloppy like in some movies.

Fight Club is one of those titles, where you don't expect strong bass, like some of the big action titles, but make no mistake, the LFE in Fight Club can go toe to toe (no pun intended ) with the best of them.

One thing I love about most concert blu-rays is that the LFE is usually more consistently balanced than most movies, so you can pretty reliably adjust the LFE output up or down to the perfect "sweet spot." Not always though, because certain ones have crazy keyboard or electronic drum sounds that come out of nowhere(NIN)!

Just watched "Megamind" and the final battle scene hits freaking low.....it's a good 3 minutes of bass pumping action.

Ah something to look forward to then. I watched it with my son earlier but we didn't finish it because we had to go somewhere else. How does the LFE compare to recent animation BDs such as How To Train Your Dragon's finale?

Watched this movie today; the above has a scene where some mountain tops are bombed. Some Very nice sustained low-end rumbling occurs in that scene.

Watched Forest Gump last night. Forgot how much good quality sound there is throughout the movie. The war scene is pretty awesome!

Hot Fuzz has loads of LFE. Not sure of a specific scene though. I guess I'd say the shoot out near the end, but sometimes, just little things like someone putting a piece of paper on a table, it goes WHOMP!
It's almost part of the comedy, the huge LFE with everyday things.
